Tristan Thompson shared multiple photos with his eldest child, Prince, months after the boy's aunt accused the NBA star of not being a "real father" to the 7-year-old.

"Lunch date with my Prince," the Cleveland Cavaliers center, 33, captioned a series of photos with his son on Sunday, July 7. in the snaps, which appeared to be taken at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel, he and Prince posed for a series of selfies, grinning broadly in one and goofing off in another. In a solo shot of Prince, the little boy smiled for the camera with a French fry in his hand and a burger in front of him.

Dozens of commenters remarked on the similarities between Thompson and his eldest son, whom he shares with ex Jordan Craig. (Thompson is also father of daughter True, 4, and son Tatum, 23 months, with ex Khloé Kardashian, as well as son Theo, 2, whom he shares with Maralee Nichols.)

"Prince is your twin so handsome," wrote one follower.

"He's your twin!!! What a lil handsome man," gushed another.

"He is gorgeous a perfect mix of you and his mom," a third person commented.

"Gorgeous little man," another user praised.

"So handsome, what a real cutie pie," a fifth fan wrote.

Despite the complimentary comments, Thompson's relationship with Prince was called into question by Craig's sister Kai, Prince's aunt, who claimed in October 2023 that the athlete "can't seem to show up and be a real parent for my nephew Prince."

Kai's Instagram post came after an episode of The Kardashians that showed Thompson on good terms with Kardashian while coparenting True and Tatum.

"That's nice if he's been a good friend to you, but let's consider our sisters before taking to global platforms to defend this man's character," she directly addressed the Good American cofounder, who has repeatedly praised Thompson as a father.

"@RealTristan13 you are NOT a good father if you can't be a good father to ALL of your children," Kai concluded, claiming that Thompson doesn't spend the same amount of quality time with Prince that he does with True and Tatum.

Moreover, other commenters in Thompson's Prince post wondered why the basketball star never shares photos of son Theo, whom the NBA star fathered with Nichols while still in a relationship with Kardashian.

"What about the other one?" someone questioned.

Another accused Thompson of "denying" Theo. "When you continue to deny your youngest child and continue to post your others, it says a lot about your character," they wrote.

Others, however, came to Thompson's defense, reminding his followers that they don't know the full story.

"Did y'all ever think the mom may not want him to post the child drink your water and mind your business and worry about you own family relationships be blessed ," they shared.

Nichols sued Thompson for child support in December 2021, the month she gave birth to Theo. One month later, after a paternity test proved Thompson was Theo's father, the basketball star publicly apologized to Kardashian. In December 2022, the suit was settled, with Thompson reportedly paying Nichols $9,500 per month in child support — payments he was reportedly behind on as of March 2024. At the time, he was required to pay Nichols $57,916 in back child support.
