Fans are thanking Kylie Kelce for packing khaki pants for husband Jason Kelce.
The retired Eagles star was seen wearing them at the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship Tournament in Lake Tahoe. On Wednesday, July 10 the NBC Sports Bay Area & CA X (formerly known as Twitter) account posted a photo of Jason's golf swing, along with the caption, "Update from the @ACChampionship driving range: @JasonKelce brought khaki's for Jason."
Jason was quick to correct the account, reposting with the comment, "I mean, if I'm being honest Kylie went out and bought them last minute and packed them for me." The account had been making a joke in reference to a famous moment from New Heights, the podcast Jason co-hosts with brother Travis Kelce. The father-of-three was trying to blame his wife, Kylie, for the outfit he wore to the premiere of his Prime Video documentary, Kelce.
On the September 2023 episode of the podcast, Travis playfully teased his brother for wearing shorts and flip flops on the carpet as he arrived. "You really got dressed up," Travis said. "I was gonna have jeans on, but Kylie was running late. I just came straight from football. Kylie was gonna bring the jeans. Kylie was late," Jason said.
Travis is clearly getting ready to call his brother out, when he initially cuts in, "Kylie what?" Once Jason finished speaking, Travis asked, "Why didn't Jason bring jeans for Jason?" The joke has since become quite the meme, especially with Philadelphia Eagles fans.
Jason doubled down at first, explaining he was at football so he couldn't have worn jeans all day. As Travis bursts out laughing at the flimsy defense, Jason admits, "Alright I'm realizing now I probably can't blame Kylie for this." Travis wasn't quite letting him off the hook yet though, adding, "She was too busy putting jeans on the three girls," referring to Jason's daughters, Wyatt Elizabeth, 4, Elliotte Ray, 3, and Bennett Llewellyn, 1.
"Yeah, she was too busy getting the entire family situated with the babysitter, and then getting herself ready, and making sure her parents are with her..." Jason was saying, as Travis interrupted, still laughing, "I can just see you pulling up, 'you don't have my jeans? I'm gonna look like an idiot.'" To his credit, Jason just laughed and admitted, "So true."
However, thanks to Kylie, Jason looked more put together at the golf tournament. This time, fans were praising his wife for packing the figure-hugging pants that showed off Kelce's post-football weight loss. "All hail Princess Kyana," one X user wrote, while another posted, "Bro, you look good." Other fans applauded Jason for wearing something other than his signature flip flops. "You need special flip flop golf shoes," one fan joked.
