Michael Strahan shared some good news about daughter Isabella's cancer battle.

He hasn't really addressed the topic on Good Morning America of late, that is, until he shared a moment with Kevin Jonas on the Wednesday, July 10 episode. Jonas had been talking about his own experience with cancer, having recently undergone surgery to remove basal cell carcinoma, a common form of skin cancer per the Mayo Clinic, from his hairline.

"It was on my forehead... It was crazy. I was getting ready to do the show, and we were filming every day, so I was in hair and makeup and all that stuff, and someone noticed it, and said, 'You should get that checked,'" Jonas explained. Co-host George Stephanopoulos emphasized how important it is to get that stuff checked out, but Jonas quickly pivoted to Strahan.

"But it's nothing compared to everything you've gone through. Is everything going alright?" he asked, referring to Strahan's daughter, Isabella, 19. "Everything is good," he replied, "Yeah, everything is good. It's working out."

Jonas continued, "Please send her our love. We are big fans of your family." Strahan seemed touched, responding, "Thank you. We appreciate you. Big fans of yours as well. We've known each other a long time."

The sweet exchange comes just a few days after Strahan returned to Good Morning America after a prolonged absence. None of the co-hosts had addressed it on the show, as correspondent Rebecca Jarvis filled in for him. The absence was likely related to Isabella, like it was back in June when he missed a few episodes.

In early June, Isabella finished her last chemotherapy treatments with a confetti parade that she documented for her YouTube channel, in a video called "Vlog 25." The heartwarming video follows the teen and her family as she rings the chemo bell to symbolize completing the treatment.

Isabella had been diagnosed with a medulloblastoma in October 2023. Per the Mayo Clinic, that is the most common cancerous brain tumor in children, and one not often seen in people Isabella's age. She has since been through three craniotomies and four rounds of chemo, documenting it all on her YouTube channel.

However, the teen was "Starting July off right," as she showed off her smile in a series of photographs shared to her Instagram account on July 3.
