The Princess of Wales will attend the men's singles final at Wimbledon on Sunday between Spain's Carlos Alcaraz and Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic, according to Kensington Palace.

In March the princess revealed she was receiving treatment for cancer and would undergo chemotherapy, since which she's only made a limited number of public appearances.

Kate is patron of The All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club, which organizes the Wimbledon championship, and in recent years has frequently presented the winner's trophy for the men's singles.

This is a breaking news story and will be updated.
