Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy reacted to the assassination attempt on Donald Trump by sharing a fan edit video of the immediate aftermath.

"The Hardest Edit of All Time. #trump," Portnoy captioned the clip, which depicted the former president raising a fist to the sky in a show of strength just moments after he had been shot in the ear at a rally in Pennsylvania. "Fight, fight, fight," Trump said, per Reuters — a rallying cry to his supporters, who loudly cheered in response.

The video, which Portnoy shared via Instagram Saturday, July 13, was overlaid with the 50 Cent song "Many Men."

"Many men / Wish death upon me / Blood in my eye, dawg, and I can't see / I'm tryin' to be what I'm destined to be," 50 Cent sings on the track.

Trump's son Donald Trump Jr. commented on Portnoy's post.

"Thanks @stoolpresidente we truly appreciate it," he wrote.

Portnoy, who has shown his support for the controversial candidate throughout the year, continued to stand for Trump after the shooting. He also shared via his Instagram Story the now-viral photo of Trump raising his fist, his face covered in blood.

"The election is over," Portnoy claimed. "Trump can't be beat now. This image will live on through time."

Portnoy also repeatedly questioned why President Joe Biden hadn't spoken out in the immediate aftermath of the assassination attempt, pointing out that former president Barack Obama had spoken out before Biden with his own statement. (Biden released a statement later on Saturday, saying, in part: "I'm grateful to hear that [Trump's] safe and doing well … There's no place for this kind of violence in America. We must unite as one nation to condemn it.")

Trump, 78, was speaking at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania earlier on Saturday when the assassination attempt occurred. Multiple shots were fired; a bullet hit Trump's ear and bloodied his face. One rally attendee died, two more were seriously injured, per AP News. The gunman was killed.
