Donald Trump has been compared to a Netflix prompt message after supposedly dozing off during the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
A clip of the former president went viral and showed Trump with his eyes closed momentarily during Republican Party official Harmeet Dhillon's speech while his vice-presidential running mate JD Vance had his eyes open next to him.
Some said Trump had nodded off, while others said his eyes were closed during Pastor James Roemke's prayer.
However, it has not stopped people online poking fun at the White House hopeful.
One post on X, formerly Twitter, compared Trump to the question asked of Netflix users: "Are you still watching?"
The streaming giant posts the question on the screen as a prompt when a user watches three episodes of a TV show in a row without using any video player controls, or after 90 minutes of uninterrupted watching, according to Netflix's help center.
Netflix states that it displays the prompt, "so you don't lose your place or use internet data when you're not actually watching a TV show or movie."
The post on X, which had 4.5 million views at the time of writing, featured a 17-second clip of Trump seemingly dozing off before waking himself up.
It was posted by @acnewsitics, who captioned the post "Netflix: Are you still watching? Me: ," with the video of Trump underneath.
People reacted to the meme in the replies.
"Definitely past his bed time 🥱," replied @jinyojr.
"I can't imagine what he's gone through this weekend all culminating to this moment, it's that "I can finally relax" moment. Hope he got the sleep I'm sure has eluded him for days. Don't expect anyone without empathy to understand that moment," wrote @lynyrds_mom.

Trump was given the nickname "Sleepy Don" during his recent Manhattan criminal trial where he was found guilty of falsifying business records to pay hush money to adult film actor Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about their alleged affair.
Several journalists reported that he appeared to doze off multiple times during his criminal trial, but Trump denied he had fallen asleep and maintained his innocence after the jury found him guilty. The former president has vowed to appeal the decision.
Trump appeared at the RNC two days after an assassination attempt at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. A bullet grazed his ear, and the former president sported a bandage over his right ear during the RNC.
One rally attendee was killed, and two more were wounded by the gunman who was killed by Secret Service at the scene.
