Video footage purporting to show Donald Trump snubbing his daughter Tiffany Trump as she greeted him at the Republican National Convention has gone viral on social media.

On Thursday, the former president delivered the longest convention speech in modern history, at just under 93 minutes, as he formally accepted the GOP's nomination for the 2024 presidential election.

He used the occasion to call President Joe Biden "the worst president in history," before adding: "America's future will be bigger, better, bolder, brighter, happier, stronger, freer, greater and more united than ever before. Quite simply put, we will very quickly make America great again."

However, a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment from the Milwaukee convention has become a talking point on social media because of an interaction—or apparent lack thereof—between the onetime business mogul and his daughter.

In the clip, which has been posted on X, formerly Twitter, Tiffany Trump, 30, was seen smiling at her 78-year-old father while walking up a set of stairs to take her seat at the event.

Donald Trump appears to briefly glance at his daughter before turning his head away. Retaining her smile, Tiffany Trump placed a hand on The Apprentice star's chest and leaned toward him, in an apparent effort to kiss the side of his face. Instead, she kissed the air.

Without reaction, Tiffany Trump then turned and continued walking to her seat. She was followed by her husband, Michael Boulos—whom, it appears, the patriarch also did not greet.

The Recount, a video journalism outlet, shared the clip on X, writing in the caption, "Trump snubs his daughter Tiffany as she goes in for a kiss."

The footage has received more than 1.5 million views. Newsweek has contacted a representative of Donald Trump for comment.

Tiffany Trump is Donald Trump's only child with Marla Maples, to whom he was married between 1993 and 1999. The politician is also father to Donald Trump Jr., 46; Ivanka Trump, 42; and Eric Trump, 40, whose mother was Donald Trump's late first wife, Ivana Trump.

Barron Trump, 18, is the former president's youngest son and only child with his current wife, former first lady Melania Trump.

Melania Trump, who has largely shied away from the spotlight in recent years, also became a social media talking point following a moment at the event on Thursday, as she was accused of "dodging" a kiss from her husband.

The moment happened after Donald Trump's acceptance speech, during which he spoke of the attempt on his life on Saturday, when a gunman opened fire at his campaign rally in Pennsylvania, leaving him with an injured ear.

"I felt very safe because I had God on my side," he told the crowd, adding, "I stand before you in this arena only by the grace of Almighty God."

Immediately after the speech, the Republican nominee leaned in for a kiss on the lips with his wife, which she appeared to "dodge," Steve Herman, a former White House bureau chief, wrote on the social media platform Mastodon.

Melania Trump was seen turning her cheek to her husband onstage as he tried to kiss her before the couple walked offstage hand in hand.

The moment was posted on X by journalist Aaron Rupar, who also described the former first lady as "dodging Trump's kiss."

Before the convention, X user Ian Miles Cheong, a Donald Trump supporter, posted a photo of the former president and his wife holding hands in a hallway at the RNC. The post received more than 55,000 views in the first 20 minutes of being shared.
