Isabella Strahan is celebrating a significant milestone in her health journey, as she's been battling brain cancer for the past six months.

Just over a month after completing her final round of chemotherapy for medulloblastoma, a malignant brain tumor, the daughter of Good Morning America host Michael Strahan shared some encouraging news. In a video posted on her YouTube channel on Thursday, July 18, Isabella announced that a recent MRI scan showed she is cancer-free. "It was a great, great scan," she said. "Everything was clear. Cancer-free. And everything is great."

To mark the occasion, the 19-year-old also posted a sweet photo on her Instagram Story showing her smiling in a grassy field with a link to the YouTube vid, which she titled "Cancer Free" with a white heart emoji.

Isabella also explained in her YouTube video that she is now finished with her hospital visits and won't have another doctor's appointment until October. While she was thrilled with the news, she admitted feeling a bit emotional about it. "I miss my doctors already and everyone who's helped," she said. "Because they're all so nice. I feel like I'm just saddened today knowing that I wasn't gonna be going back for a while 'cause I love them so much."

Throughout her health battles, Isabella received immense support from her fans and family. Her father, Michael, 52, recently praised her strength and resilience after completing chemo. "You are a SUPERWOMAN," the former NFL star wrote in a June 16 Instagram post. "Ringing that bell finishing chemo and on your way. You continue to fight with a smile on your face, strength, and determination. I am one proud Dad! Love you, Bella," he continued.

Fans of GMA began to notice Michael's absence, who's consistent appearance on the morning show stopped in May. In his leave, a rotation of fill-ins has joined his co-host, George Stephanopoulos. Michael's time away from the show was due to Isabella's completion of chemotherapy, as the supportive father has stepped away from the spotlight to be with his family during the challenging time.
