Sunday, July 21, was a great day for Martha Stewart.

The Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia founder, 82, not only got to spend time with her grandchildren, Jude, 13, and Truman, 12, but she also celebrated receiving an advanced copy of her 100th book. The book is Martha: The Cookbook: 100 Favorite Recipes, with Lessons and Stories from My Kitchen, and will be released November 5, 2024.

Stewart shared a couple images to Instagram of her grandchildren checking out the book, writing in the caption, "I shared a first glance at the book with my grandchildren Jude 13 and Truman 12 they said they liked it!!!" She also shared that the cookbook "features one hundred of my favorite recipes and their backstories," as well as "lots of archival photos."

The iconic television personality let fans know that one of her favorite pages in the book was filled with her "hints on how to write a cookbook!" Stewart added, "So many questions about the actual publishing and printing of this book. For those of you who do not know, the book is published by Clarkson Potter, my publisher since 1982."

She also explained that it is printed in China because they are less expensive than domestic printers, noting that means she can charge a bit less for the books. However, she also stressed that they "are very very good for illustrated books and for popular large run books." Seemingly expecting a bit of a backlash, she finished, "Remember book publishing is a business with many different facets, and it's complicated."

While there were some comments questioning her choice to print in China, most fans flooded the Instagram post with notes of congratulations, and how excited they are to buy the book once it is released. One Instagram user commented, "Congratulations! I'm looking forward to it. I own at least 80 of the others 🎉🎉."

Another commenter shared a sweet personal message, posting, "Congratulations, Martha. I am going to order a copy to gift to my sister who has always watched your shows and credits you for teaching her how to cook."

Jude and Truman are the children of Stewart's only child, daughter Alexis, 58, whom the businesswoman shares with ex Andrew.
