Princess Kate's royal "aura" has been praised by fans in a new viral video, after the future queen made her second public appearance of 2024 this month following her cancer diagnosis.

In March, Kate announced that she had been diagnosed with cancer after undergoing abdominal surgery at the beginning of the year. The princess is receiving a course of "preventative chemotherapy" and has remained mostly out of the public eye during this.

In June, she made her first official appearance of the year for the Trooping the Colour celebrations and this was followed this month with an appearance to present the prizes at the men's final of the Wimbledon Tennis Championship.

Following Kate's health announcement, she received an outpouring of support from fans, celebrities and world leaders.

In the absence of regular new appearances, supporters have taken to social media to post highlights from past engagements and events, with a number regularly reaching viral numbers.

Uploaded to TikTok by user paulsonssfilms, on July 20, a compilation of footage showing Kate's more powerful appearances in public has reached over half a million views on the video sharing platform so far.

Captioned "the aura," the footage includes clips from the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla which took place at Westminster Abbey in 2023, as well as the Commonwealth Day Service which was held at the same location in the same year. For both appearances, Kate's fashion choices were widely praised.

On coronation day, Kate wore a custom Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen white silk gown that was steeped in historic symbolism. The neckline and hem of the design were embellished with silver bullion embroidery in the shape of the floral emblems of the United Kingdom: Roses for England; Thistles for Scotland; Daffodils for Wales; and shamrocks for Northern Ireland.

Kate's Commonwealth Day outfit was designed by Erdem, one of her favorite fashion houses, and took the form of a vintage silhouette inspired skirt suit in deep navy with a small-scale white floral print.

The viral video has received in excess of 85,000 likes so far and over 100 comments, many of which have praised Kate and her "aura"—a word used to describe a distinctive atmosphere possessed by a given source.

"The first clip after the intro has so much power omg [oh my god]," wrote one user of the post.

"Aura maxed out," posted another, with a further user adding: "Her at the coronation of King Charles was so powerful."
