Luke Combs wished his wife a happy birthday with a sweet ode to her on Instagram.

The country singer, 34, took to the social media platform on Sunday, July 21, to write a gushing note to his wife, Nicole. "My love, my best friend, the world's best mom, and my all around favorite person. Happy Birthday @nicolejcombs!!! 32 never looked so good. I love you," Combs wrote, alongside a carousel of photos.

Two of the pictures in the slideshow featured glimpses at the couple's sons, Tex, born in June 2022, and Beau, born in August 2023. The couple are careful not to show their children's faces. There was one image of Nicole holding Beau by a beautiful waterfall, with the baby facing away from the camera. There was also a sweet picture of Tex cuddling in his mother's arms as the pair looked out the window.

Combs and his now-wife met through mutual friends, though they were dating different people when they first met. He actually wrote the song "Beautiful Crazy" about Nicole, before the couple were even officially dating. They began dating in 2016, when Combs was working on getting his career started, while Nicole, who has a degree in civil engineering, was already successful.

The country singer joked that at the time, his friends never thought it would work. However, the couple clicked, and once Combs' career started blowing up, she ended up joining him on the road. Combs proposed to Nicole in November 2018, and the pair got married in an intimate ceremony (thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic) on August 1, 2020.

The sweet Instagram post comes two days after Combs memorably shotgunned beers with Twisters cast members Glen Powell, Daisy Edger-Jones, and Anthony Ramos at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium.

On Friday, July 19, the actors joined Combs — whose song "Ain't No Love In Oklahoma'' is on the film's soundtrack — at the stop on his Growin' Up and Gettin' Old tour. Combs later posted a video of the moment on X (formerly known as Twitter) along with the caption, "Hey Twisters cast, what you say we shotgun one?!"
