The Bachelor star Anna Redman said she's been receiving death threats following a social media post that included an outfit she planned to wear at Auschwitz.

Earlier this month, the influencer who starred in season 25 of the long-running reality series went viral for all the wrong reasons after sharing a list of vacation looks on her Instagram Stories.

Redman showcased the outfits she was going to wear on each stop on her trip to Poland, including a black mini dress and white shoes for a visit to Auschwitz, the concentration camp where roughly 1.1 million people were killed during the Holocaust.

"The best packing 'hack.' Is somebody going to match my freak?" the 28-year-old wrote alongside the outfit selection.

Redman's post sparked an immediate uproar on social media.

"This was extremely offensive and in poor taste," wrote one Reddit user.

"That's a crazy inappropriate outfit to wear at Auschwitz, you're at a concentration camp, not brunch,'" said another.

"What the f*** is wrong with influencers," asked one person on X, formerly Twitter, while another commented: "Disgusting behavior."

others defended the reality star, with one Redditor writing: "It's insane people are attacking her for this."

"This is too harsh of a criticism for what the 'crime' is," said another, referring to the backlash Redman had begun to receive.

"I truly don't think she was being malicious in posting this," commented a third. "She's been known to do this outfit/travel hack for all of her trips."

Redman deleted the Instagram Story and posted an apology shortly afterward.

"Hey everyone," she wrote in the follow-up post. "I'm severely sorry for any pain I caused when sharing my packing notes story. I understand how flippant it came off labeling that day with the trip we are taking.

"I understand that heaviness of visiting Auschwitz and have been planning accordingly since we added seeing it in our travel plans.

"Again, I'm very sorry and took it down as soon as I understood that gravity of the mistake I made. I had no ill intentions behind it AT ALL. And I hope you guys can understand that."

During an appearance on The TMZ Podcast on Tuesday, Redman said she'd been receiving death threats as a result of the post.

"I think there was a lot of different narratives online about what I did and what I didn't do," Redman told hosts Charlie Cotton and Charlie Neff.

"Definitely, the intent was misinterpreted as well, and I think most people who know me know I wouldn't do that."

However, she said the messages were "50/50" positive and negative.

"I got a lot of messages, even from like the Jewish community, being like, 'Thank you so much for not hiding that you're going and being respectful and actually picking a respectful outfit," Redman said.

"Then there was also the messages that are like, 'You should have died,' or 'I hope they kill you when you're there.' I'm just like, 'Whoa, it's a lot.'"

Newsweek reached out to Redman for comment via email.

The social media star said the backlash overshadowed the trip, which she took with her boyfriend, Chris Bukowski, and his family. Redman said she "turned off the phone and tried to put it away."

However, Redman has still been posting snaps from her vacation, including stops at Kasprowy Wierch Peak in the Tatra Mountains, the Morskie Oko Lake in the Tatra National Park, and the town of Zakopane in southern Poland.
