Flavor Flav got a special shout-out from Taylor Swift herself!

In a video Flavor Flav, 65, shared to X (formerly known as Twitter), the "Fortnight" singer, 34, could be seen mouthing his name, before pointing at him and smiling. "It's the guy from Public Enemy also known as KING SWIFTIE. Coming straight to Germany to see me!!!," the rapper captioned the video, seemingly sharing his twist on a line from Swift's song "Karma," which goes, "Karma is the guy on the screen, coming straight home to me."

"Shout out back to @taylorswift13 @taylornation13 and her team and family for having me!!! 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾#TSErasTour #HamburgTSTheErasTour," he wrote of the video taken at the Tuesday, July 23 Eras Tour performance in Hamburg, Germany.

Swifties went wild over the video, with one commenting, "TAY REALLY SAID "FLAVOR FLAVVVVV" 🗣️🗣️🗣️." Another X user posted, "She knows who the king is!!!!" while a third wrote, "Omg I love this! And we love you King Swiftie!! 🫶."

Others started interacting with the rapper about the shows they would be attending, and one asked Flavor Flav about his favorite era. "1989,,, itz the first lyrics I could relate to ,,, Bad Blood just hits hard," he responded, referring to the beloved 2014 album.

Flavor Flav also attended the June 9, 2023, stop of the Eras Tour at Ford Field in Detroit. He arrived wearing an all-red outfit save for a T-shirt emblazoned with the phrase, "I Knew She Was Trouble," which is a reference to the 2012 Red single, "I Knew You Were Trouble."

Flav also shared a post on X from that tour stop, showing off friendship bracelets, and writing, "In my RED (Taylor's Version) Era and makin new friends at #TaylorSwift @taylorswift13."

"Had to check myself and what version ya boy was repping,,, artists supporting other artists," Flavor Flav continued in a subsequent tweet. The Flavor of Love star has long been a fan of Swift, and has never been shy about sharing his love for her. He was in attendance at the October 2023 premiere of the film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.

Speaking with the Los Angeles Times in an interview shared on February 9, 2024, Flavor Flav gushed about running into Swift at the 2024 Grammys. He complimented the star on her success, and expressed excitement over Swift acknowledging the nickname given to him by her fanbase, "King Swiftie." He told the publication, "I said, 'You know they call me King Swiftie?' She said, 'I know!' Yo, when I heard her say that, that was huge to me."
