Logan Paul has said he will endorse Donald Trump in the 2020 general election under one condition—he can buy the hat he was wearing during the recent assassination attempt.

During the latest episode of his Impaulsive podcast, the YouTuber and his co-host Mike Majlak were joined by Paul's brother, fellow social media star Jake Paul, and his mom, Patricia Stepnick.

"Do you think July 2024 could potentially go down as the craziest month on record?" Majlak said. "Like bro, Trump got his ear blown off, Biden resigned..."

"Plot twist," Logan said. "Wild to see, brother."

Jake said he intended to "link up" with Trump during his trip to Nashville, Tennessee, next week, before heading to a Bitcoin conference.

"Tell Trump, $2 million for the hat he was wearing for the attempted assassination and my full endorsement," Logan said. "Not that he needs it, but that's my offer."

"That's your bid? My bid is $3 million," Jake responded. "Then I'll do $4 [million]," his brother shot back.

"I would legitimately pay, with the current money I have now; my max out would be like, I would pay $12 million," he added, before Logan suggested they go "halfsies" on the hat.

Newsweek has reached out to Logan Paul and Donald Trump for comment via email.

On July 13, Thomas Matthew Crooks open-fired with an AR15-style rifle during a Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The 78-year-old Republican presidential nominee was struck in his upper-right ear, before hurried offstage by Secret Service agents.

One rally goer was killed in the attack, while two others were seriously injured. The shooter was shot dead at the scene.

A spokesperson for Trump later said the Republican politician was "fine" after being assessed at a hospital. However, he will no longer hold his rallies outdoors as a result of the incident, according to NBC.

Trump appeared on Impaulsive in June. The U.K. newspaper Daily Mail said a source close to Logan Paul said that Trump reached out to the WWE champion and asked to come on the podcast.

During the show, the business mogul urged Paul's followers to vote for him over Joe Biden in November's general election. Despite Trump claiming his Democratic rival had a "less than 1 percent chance" of appearing on Impaulsive, Paul had also offered Biden the chance to appear on the show, prior to the president's decision to end his campaign bid.

The 81-year-old announced Sunday that he was dropping out of the race for his party's nomination, following calls from fellow Democrats and public figures.

The politician had been battling concerns about his age and mental fitness, following his performance at the first debate with Trump on June 27. Biden has thrown his support behind Vice President Kamala Harris, who confirmed on Sunday that she plans to run in the 2024 general election.
