Boxer Jake Paul has shared his fear that Donald Trump could be subjected to multiple assassination attempts after a shooter tried to take his life earlier this month.

Minutes into Trump's speech at a July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, a gunman opened fire, striking the former president in his right ear. The former president was surrounded by Secret Service agents and led from the stage after defiantly raising his hand in a clenched fist.

One rally attendee was killed, and two others were critically injured, according to the Secret Service. Thomas Matthew Crooks fired his weapon from the roof of a building less than 200 yards from the podium where Trump was speaking to supporters. Crooks, 20, was fatally shot by the Secret Service at the scene.

The fallout from the shooting led to Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigning on Tuesday, a day after she was berated by lawmakers on both sides of the aisle. They demanded answers on why Trump was allowed to go up on stage, even after a potentially suspicious person was spotted by officers.

Cheatle repeatedly pushed back on lawmakers' questions, stating that the agency's investigation into the incident is ongoing. The FBI is also conducting an independent probe of the assassination attempt.

Discussing the shooting on Tuesday's installment of his Impaulsive podcast, Jake Paul's brother and wrestler Logan Paul said: "I hope Trump does what he says he's gonna do. If he gets reelected and does some sort of deep-rooted exposé of the Deep State and figures all of it out."

"It appears there's an organization working directly against the things he's trying to do to help us," the YouTuber-turned-fighter said.

Sharing his take, Jake Paul, who himself transitioned from being a social media personality to a fighter, said that he foresees more attempts on Trump's life.

"But this is why it's scary and dangerous because now it's even more dangerous for him because they're gonna try to assassinate him time and time again," he said. "This is not just the first attempt. It's gonna be more and more and more. He has to be extra f****** careful."

During the discussion, co-host Mike Majlak suggested that Trump should employ a body double, in line with rumors that Russian President Vladimir Putin has done just that.

Ukrainian military's Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) representative Andriy Yusov told Radio NV on November 5 that it had "reliable information" that Putin used body doubles, amid denials by Moscow's presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

WWE star Logan Paul previously interviewed Trump for an Impaulsive special that went live last month. Boxer Jake Paul has also put out a call to Trump. In April, he invited the former president to attend his bout with boxing legend Mike Tyson.

"Trump, if you're watching this, this is an invite. I know you used to promote Tyson, so I'd love to have you at the fight," Jake Paul said during an appearance on Fox News' Jesse Watters Primetime show. "Donny, pull up, we've got tickets for you."

However, the fight, scheduled for July, did not go ahead as planned. Following Tyson's medical scare on a flight which was later diagnosed as an ulcer flare-up, the fight has been pushed to November.
