On Monday, July 22, the DCC Instagram page shared a photo of the squad in their training camp gear, captioning the post, "WE MADE THE TEAM! 💘💘💘." In the celebratory snap, the rookies proudly held up their official uniforms, marking the start of a new chapter.

Netflix's America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders has been turning heads since its release on June 20, 2024. The seven-episode docuseries peels back the curtain on the intense lives of these athletes, from the grueling tryouts to the glamorous yet demanding training camps for the 2023 team. But it's not just about the physical demands — these cheerleaders navigate personal struggles, embody resilience, and manage life's juggling act of relationships, second jobs, and personal ambitions.

The spotlight doesn't only shine on the rookies trying to make their mark; seasoned veterans share their journeys, too. The series isn't shy about discussing sensitive topics like body image and mental health, providing a raw, authentic glimpse into the lives of these performers under pressure.

So, which girls made the cut? Of the 21 rookies vying for a spot, 12 fresh faces have made the prestigious 2024 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders team. Joining the ranks this year are Kelly Villares and Charly Barby, along with newcomers Madie Krueger, Julissa Garcia, Ava Lahey, Trinity Miles, Allison Khong, Abby Summers, Ariel Brumfield, Michelle Siemienowski, Darah Haidet, and Sophia Brown.

The squad also welcomes back fan favorites like Reece Weaver, now a veteran and newly married, and Anna Kate Sundvold, who follows in her sister's footsteps for another year. Returning 2023 rookies include Camille Sturdivant, Brooklyn Davis, Kennedy Hannan, McKenna Gehrke, Zoë Dale, and Taylo Altieri.

Veteran cheerleaders like Sophy Laufer, now in her third year, and Madeline Salter, entering her fourth year, continue to inspire, while Chandi Dayle, entering her sixth year, stands as the most senior member of the team, offering leadership and experience.

The docuseries marks the second depiction of the team, following the hit CMT reality show Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team, which aired from 2006 to 2021.
