At the famous Churros con Chocolate party in Barcelona, Katy Perry took the stage at La Terrazza on the last day of the Pride celebrations and declared a generous offer that sent waves through the audience.

"Until 3:00, all drinks are on me!" the 39-year-old pop icon announced into the microphone on Sunday, July 21. The venue erupted in cheers, but amidst the excitement, a skeptical voice rose from the crowd, "Are you sure?" Without missing a beat, Perry responded with a grin, "Honey, I'm rich!" The crowd's volume cranked up a notch as fans reveled in her candid humor.

The clip of this moment, shared by a fan on TikTok, quickly spiraled into viral fame as viewers flocked to the comments section. "Iconic 😭," commented one user, perfectly capturing the mood. Others chimed in with laughter and admiration with things like, "MOTHER IS MOTHERING," and "Legend behavior."

One fan humorously confessed, "I would've been wasted in about 30 minutes chugging all the drinks I can," while another appreciated the honest exchange, "ok but that fan was so cute to ask actually, like I feel like that was so sweet❤️." Discussions about the music icon's wealth also surfaced with a jesting tone, "Doesn't she get a $20mil paycheck from American Idol? 😭😭😭."

This isn't Perry's first rodeo with spontaneous generosity. During a charity performance in May 2018, at the Santa Barbara Bowl for mudslide relief, she promised to buy a beer for everyone present. Recounting the event to Entertainment Tonight at the American Idol semifinals, the Grammy nominee described how the offer "cleared out the whole audience," with attendees, including her own brother-in-law, returning "double-fisting."

The visit to Barcelona marked the beginning of Perry's European promotional tour for her upcoming album, 143, set for release on September 20. The evening was filled with not just drinks but also previews of her new single "Lifetimes."
