Princess Charlotte's regal presence has gained attention on social media as the Prince and Princess of Wales' daughter has assumed a more senior role within the monarchy over the past two years.

Charlotte celebrated her ninth birthday in May and is currently third in the official line of succession to inherit the British throne. She assumed this position in September 2022, when Queen Elizabeth II died, and the princess' grandfather, King Charles III, became the new monarch.

Over the subsequent months, Charlotte has been increasingly present at high-profile royal events, including, most notably, the coronation of Charles and Queen Camilla in May 2023.

In 2024, the princess has been less visible as the Wales family members have supported Princess Kate during her cancer diagnosis and treatment. However, Charlotte was present at the Trooping the Colour celebrations in London in June and Wimbledon tennis championships in July.

The Trooping the Colour celebrations are held annually each June to mark the monarch's official birthday and include a military parade, an aerial flypast and a royal family balcony appearance at Buckingham Palace.

Uploaded to TikTok by user @thee.rooyal.family on July 26, footage of Charlotte and her younger brother, Prince Louis, has been praised by fans.

In the clip, the young royals are taking part in the Buckingham Palace balcony appearance, which takes place at the end of the celebrations. At one point during the event on June 15, Charlotte was seen exchanging an authoritative look with her brother.

Charlotte has often been spotted during official appearances correcting her brother's behavior or leading him through what happens when, such as bowing and waving.

The viral clip has been viewed over 137,000 times so far and received in excess of 12,000 likes and over 110 comments, many of which have noted the princess' regal appearance.

"Charlotte keeping the family in order," wrote one TikTok user.

"She's got that powerful royal presence already. Keeping her bros in line. She'll do great things," posted another, with a further comment noting a similarity the princess shares with her grandmother, Princess Diana. "She has got the Diana stare," it said.
