Meghan Markle has given her first interview of 2024 which will air this Sunday (August 4) reflecting on how parents can support children against online harm.

The duchess, alongside Prince Harry, sat down with CBS Sunday Morning Host Jane Pauley to reflect on an issue that the couple have focused on through their Archewell charitable foundation.

In a preview from the interview released on Thursday, Meghan reflected on her own role as a mother.

"Our kids are young, they're three and five. They're amazing. But all you want to do as parents is protect them," she said.

"So as we can see what's happening in the online space we know that there's a lot of work to be done there and we're just happy to be able to be a part of change for good."

This is the first filmed interview the duchess has taken part in so far this year.
