Mariska Hargitay took some well-deserved time off from solving crimes as beloved Law & Order: SVU detective Olivia Benson. The actress shared a photo from Paris on Wednesday, July 31, while she's in the city for the 2024 Olympic Games.

In the photo, Hargitay, 60, is seen with her own family — husband Peter Hermann 18-year-old son August, 13-year-old Amaya, and 12-year-old Andrew — as well as Katie Ledecky's family, cheering on the seven-time Olympic gold medalist who most recently earned the gold medal in the 1500-meter freestyle swim. "So honored to celebrate the extraordinary @katieledecky with the extraordinary Ledecky family!!," said Hargitay in her Instagram post's caption. In the picture, the two famililes are visibly happy and smiling following Ledecky's win.

The actress tends to keep her family life private, rarely posting photos of her children. But superfans were excited for an update, with some fans in the comments asking, "Is August taller than Peter?"

Hargitay has previously expressed her support and fandom for Ledecky. Back in April, Hargitay spoke about Ledecky's incredible swimming talents in a promotional TV spot for the Olympics, recounting Ledecky's journey and noting "what began as family bonding, quickly ignited into a deeper passion."

As for Hargitay's own award-winning career, Law & Order: SVU will return for its 26th season this fall on Oct. 3, with Hargitay returning in her role as Benson. But fans can expect to see more of Hargitay in the Law & Order universe. Chris Meloni, who previously played detective Elliot Stabler on SVU and reprises the role on Law & Order: Organized Crime, revealed in an interview to People that Hargitay will appear on an episode of Organized Crime.

Production for SVU's 26th season is underway, and the upcoming fifth season of Organized Crime is in the early stages of production. Organized Crime will move to Peacock after a four-season run on NBC.
