Ben Affleck changed up his look in a huge way as rumors continue to swirl about his alleged marriage drama with wife Jennifer Lopez.
The 51-year-old Oscar winner sported a wildly different haircut as he rode around Los Angeles on a motorcycle on Saturday, August 3, per photos obtained by People.
Clad in a monochromatic look — including a black leather jacket over a Red Hot Chili Peppers tee, which he paired with charcoal gray jeans and black aviators — Affleck sported a faux hawk, his hair closely cropped on the sides and longer on top.
The new 'do is a significant departure from the actor's hairstyles over the years. Although he has been known to switch up his look on occasion — going from rocking a beard to sporting a more clean-shaven look, as well as a longer, more unkempt mane — Affleck's never gone as close-cropped (or as edgy!) as he has with the faux hawk.
Though the Gone Girl star has been in the spotlight for decades, it's perhaps never been more glaring as it is currently, as he and Lopez, 55, navigate their alleged marriage woes. Every time he and the Grammy winner step out — separately or together, sans wedding bands or with the jewelry on their fingers — the couple nicknamed Bennifer make headlines as the world continues to try and decipher if they are still romantically involved.
Lopez and Affleck's Beverly Hills estate is currently on the market, per TMZ, while the Good Will Hunting actor reportedly purchased his own separate home in L.A. earlier this summer.
The "Waiting for Tonight" artist, for her part, made headlines in May when she seemed to hint for the first time that there was trouble in paradise for her and Affleck. (The couple, who called off their initial engagement in the early 2000s, wed in 2022.)
"You can't build a healthy relationship with someone who ... lacks integrity & emotional safety ... doesn't respect your time, doesn't think it's important to call/text back in a reasonable time frame ... lacks effective communication skills = silent treatment, withdraws, refuses to communicate unless it's on their terms ... doesn't know who they are or what they want," read an instagram post that Lopez "liked" at the time.
