Livvy Dunne is not too shy to gush about boyfriend Paul Skenes.

The LSU gymnast, 21, often posts about her beau, 22, on social media, taking to her Instagram Story in May 2024 to celebrate Skenes' milestone with the Pittsburgh Pirates. "Oh my goodness! First mlb strikeout," she captioned a photo from the baseball game, tagging her boyfriend.

She also gushed about how dedicated her boyfriend is to his sport, when interviewed about watching his first game. "I have so many amazing memories with him, but I know how hard he's worked for this moment. All the hours, I just know what a hard worker he is," Dunne said.

"This is probably one of my favorite moments I've ever seen. Seriously, there is nothing that can top this. I'm just so proud," she continued, in a video shared by Talkin' Baseball.

In March of that year, Dunne told ESPN why she thinks she and Skenes make such a great pair. "He's pretty level-headed all the time, which I love," she said, explaining, "I think that we're a really good pair because of that. I have such a crazy lifestyle, and things get thrown my way all the time, and sometimes my emotions sway up and down. He's very level, and I just think it's a very good match."

Speaking with ESPN at the ESPYs in June 2024, Dunne gave fans an inside look at their relationship, sharing that Skenes is a good cook. She also revealed that despite what he may seem like in interviews, Skenes is "actually very goofy."

During that same interaction, she also said she would be down for a dual Sports Illustrated cover alongside her boyfriend. "I never even thought of that, but I think you should tell Sports Illustrated, because that would be pretty iconic," she said.

That same month, she shared a sweet carousel of photos of the pair relaxing on the water in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The first image in the slideshow featured the pair smiling at each other, their faces close as if they are about to kiss, alongside the caption, "Hooked."

In July 2024, Dunne praised her boyfriend's pitching skills in a conversation with MLB Network. "My brain can't even process how hard he throws," Dunne said. "Like, it is incredible, and such a joy to watch. And he's a great baseball player, but an even better person."

Skenes and Dunne met through mutual friends while they were both attending Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. They went public with their relationship in August 2023, with Skenes telling the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that it was "nice" the pair both understood what it can be like to deal with fame.

She congratulated her beau — with whom she shares Golden Retriever Roux — when he made his MLB debut, posting, "Way to go, Bucco."

Even when Dunne can't be there to cheer on her boyfriend, she will still post about his victories on social media, like when she took to her Story to comment, "Slay," after he helped his team win against the Milwaukee Brewers ahead of the ESPY Awards.
