Jordan Chiles' mom responded to Flavor Flav's offer following her daughter's Olympic medal controversy.

On Sunday, the rapper—whose real name is William Jonathan Drayton, Jr.—shared a message of support to the gymnast via X, formerly Twitter.

"Ayyy YOOOO @ChilesJordan,,, imma make you a BRONZE CLOCK NECKLACE,,, and that's something NO ONE else has,!!! Hit me up my girl,,, I gotchu,!!!" he said.

In a follow up message, Flav added, "USA gonna Fight the Powers that be,,, in the meantime between time,,, Imma always a man of my word @ChilesJordan."

Flav—co-founder of Public Enemy—attended the Olympics in Paris, cheering on athletes from the stands. In July, Flav signed a five-year sponsorship deal with U.S. women's and men's water polo national teams as their official hype man.

Chiles' mom, Gina Chiles, spotted Flav's gesture and replied on X.

"Thank you. Means the world," she said. "She's not on socials right now as you can imagine. I'll share it with her."

At the time of publication, Gina Chiles' post had been viewed more than 1.6 million times.

In the comments, people shared messages of support.

"I hope she knows how many people are in her corner," fellow user @smars319 wrote.

"We are behind you and your family 100 percent!!!" @phxsunz25 said, while @BracketNky chimed in, "This is awesome. I'm glad Flavor's doing this."

"Absolutely magnificent that you responded to @FlavorFlav on her behalf," @AmyTrask added. "Please let her know that millions of us are behind her—and thank you again @flavorflav for all you are doing, you are a leader and you do what the best people do, you help others be their best."

Previously, Gina Chiles called out the racism her daughter has been experiencing.

"The racist disgusting comments are still happening in 2024," she wrote on X. "I'm tired of people who say it no longer exists. My daughter is a highly decorated Olympian with the biggest heart and a level of sportsmanship that is unmatched...and she's being called disgusting things."

Jordan Chiles, who represented Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, finished fifth in the individual floor exercise on August 5 with her Beyoncé-inspired routine. She was later bumped up to third place, though, after her coach Cecile Landi submitted an inquiry about a split leap, claiming she didn't receive credit for it.

The score change led to a podium finish for Chiles, putting Romanian gymnast Ana Barbosu in fourth place.

"This is just a dream come true," Chiles told NBC at the time after earning a bronze medal. "It's my first time ever in an event final. Like we said, it was a redemption tour, and I just wanted to come out and do the best that I could. So, this medal means everything. First event final, first event medal, like, oh my gosh! I have no words, but I'm very proud of myself."

Her celebrations were short lived, however, because the Romanian Federation of Gymnastics filed an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), alleging that Chiles' inquiry had been submitted too late. The CAS agreed, moving Chiles back to fifth place.

On Sunday, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced Barbosu would be awarded the bronze medal.

Team USA pushed back against the ruling, saying in a statement on X that they "submitted a letter and video evidence" to CAS "establishing that Head Coach Cecile Landi's request to file an inquiry was submitted 47 seconds after the publishing of the score, within the 1-minute deadline required by FIG rule."

Despite new evidence, CAS will not hear Chiles' appeal.

"USA Gymnastics was notified by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on Monday that their rules do not allow for an arbitral award to be reconsidered even when conclusive new evidence is presented," USA Gymnastics said in a statement on Monday. "We are deeply disappointed by the notification and will continue to pursue every possible avenue and appeal process, including to the Swiss Federal Tribunal, to ensure the just scoring, placement, and medal award for Jordan."
