Mark Ruffalo is the latest celebrity to share their thoughts on the interview between Elon Musk and former president Donald Trump.

On Monday, Musk hosted Trump on his social media platform, X, formerly Twitter, where they discussed topics ranging from Project 2025 to Kamala Harris' looks, and immigration to censorship.

There was even discussion around Trump's alleged "lisp" during the two-hour, audio-only interview hosted on X's Space feature. Aside from how the former president sounded, there was plenty of analysis about the interview from The Avengers actor.

Ruffalo took to X on Tuesday and shared an article from The Guardian that summarized the major talking points of the interview.

"😬 Elon just sat there while Trump ate up all the "conversation." It's hilarious listening to Elon try and break in and being swallowed by a cesspool of meaningless word concoctions. Two billionaires, billionairing all over each other. What a ridiculous diatribe. Tax them heavily. 😂," Ruffalo captioned the post.

It had more than 13,500 views at the time of writing.

Ruffalo is outspoken on major issues, from the Israel-Hamas war to Supreme Court rulings.

In July, the actor slammed Trump over Project 2025, which is an initiative developed by the conservative think tank the Heritage Foundation. It aims to make significant changes to the U.S. federal government should Trump win November's presidential election as the Republican nominee.

"Project 2025 is not a game, it's white Christian nationalism. It is the Sharia Law of the 'Christian' crazy people who aren't Christian at all but want to control every aspect of your life through their narrow and exclusionary interpretation of Christ's egalitarian, inclusive, and kindly teachings," Ruffalo wrote on X in July.

"Don't be fooled by Project 2025's extremist and perverse ideology," he continued. "Trump is bringing it to all our lives: abortion, LGBTQIA+ rights, freedom of expression, freedom of religion, freedom of education, and equality between the races and genders—GONE. Forced birth and forced religion. Trump's American Taliban."

Trump referred to Project 2025 during his conversation with Musk by speaking about one of his planned policies should he reenter the White House. The controversial Project 2025 plan that Trump had distanced himself from was the idea of "education freedom," which prioritizes parental authority in education decisions.

"I want to close up Department of Education, move education back to the states," Trump told Musk. "If you moved education back to the 50 [states], you'll have some that won't do well...but they'll actually be forced to do better, because it'll be a pretty bad situation."

He added: "I'll bet you'd have 30, 35 states that'll be much better. And you know what it'll cost? Less than half what it is in Washington."
