Singer Michael Bolton has assured fans that he is all right after police were spotted at his property in Connecticut.

X user @Ninomoleromeo had posted on the social media site (formerly Twitter) that they had noticed multiple law enforcement cars outside the Grammy award winner's home in Westport, Connecticut, writing: "Something with several police cars is happening at Michael Bolton's house here in Westport CT. I hope he is all right."

Bolton himself responded to the post to assure fans he was fine.

"All is good!! Just prepping for a small landscape project [smile emoji] thanks for checking!" the singer wrote.

Newsweek reached out to the Westboro Police Department and Bolton's representatives by email for comment.

A fan responded to the Grammy winner's post, saying they were relieved by his update.

"Glad you're ok," wrote @ChristianGinaB.

In January, the 71-year-old revealed he had undergone surgery for a brain tumor but was doing well.

"Thanks to my incredible medical team, the surgery was a success," he wrote on Facebook. "I am now recuperating at home and surrounded by the tremendous love and support of my family."

Bolton added that he would be taking a break from touring to focus on "devoting [his] time and energy to recovery."

"It is always the hardest thing to postpone a show, but have no doubt I am working hard to accelerate my recovery and get back to performing soon," he wrote.

Since then, Bolton has updated fans on his health on Instagram, including a post in May in which he told them he was "healing well and doing better every day."

"l've been enjoying the company of my daughters and grandkids during this time at home, and practicing on my putting green whenever it's not raining! Thank you all so much for all the kind messages and I hope to see you very soon!!" Bolton wrote.

A few days later, Bolton announced his return to the stage would happen in London in July 2025, where he would perform his greatest hits at a concert with special guest Bonnie Tyler.

"Thank you all for your continued support during my recovery! Although I wanted to be there sooner I'm so looking forward to spending a special evening together at the O2 London next summer!!! Lots of love. MB," he wrote on Instagram in May.

The singer has had more than a 50-year career but rose to fame in the 1980s by switching his music style from rock to power ballads.

Bolton has sold more than 75 million albums and is known for songs such as "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You" and "Said I Loved You But I Lied."
