Season 4 of Emily in Paris is about to hit Netflix and ahead of its release, Newsweek has dived into the iconic Parisian locations shown in the hit show.

For anybody missing the city's backdrops, following the Olympics coverage, they will be able to fall in love with the iconic settings all over again.

The series, created by Sex and the City's Darren Star, has developed a cult following over the years and has become a guilty pleasure for many Netflix users. Emily in Paris follows the exciting life of stereotypical Chicago 20-something Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) who lands a job as a marketing executive in Paris, uprooting her entire life to live her Parisian fantasy.

Along the way, there have been plenty of dramas, love triangles, multiple French cliches and many fashion faux pas. And of course, Emily spends a lot of time roaming the streets of Paris and visiting iconic landmarks.

Many of the locations Emily visits are real. Ahead of Season 4, Newsweek has rounded up just some of the notable locations from Seasons 1, 2 and 3.

Emily in Paris Season 1 Filming Locations

For the majority of season one, Emily's adventures kept her in Paris. She spent the majority of her time in the capital city's 5th arrondissement, on the Left Bank of the Seine.

Her home is meant to be located in Place de L'Estrapade in Paris' Latin quarter but was filmed on a soundstage. However, the view she has over Paris is real, including the café she often visits.

Gabriel, Emily's neighbor played by Lucas Bravo, worked in the restaurant Les Deux Compères, a real restaurant that was renamed Chez Lavaux for the second season of the show. The real name of the establishment is Terra Nera.

Savoir, the marketing firm that Emily works for, has its offices in the Place de Valois, which is a quiet sector near the Palais Royal.

When Emily first arrives in the city, she often visits the Jardin du Palais Royal, eating her lunch alone on a bench. It is there that she meets Mindy (Ashley Park) for the first time and the pair often visit the location for lunch.

This season, Emily heads to an influencer lunch during Paris Fashion Week. The event is held in Hôtel d'Evreux, a private mansion overlooking the Place Vendôme neighborhood in Paris. In one shot, you can see the historic landmark Colonne Vendôme in the background.

Pont Alexandre III is a stunning bridge in Paris, which is where Antonie (William Abadie) shoots the commercial for his new perfume. He eventually throws a party to celebrate the launch of the product at Le Café de L'Homme, a Parisian brasserie that is known for its views of the Eiffel Tower.

Other locations shown in Season 1 are Café de Flore, Rue de l'Abreuvoir in Montmartre, which has been dubbed the "prettiest street in Paris"; Musée des Arts Forains; Palais Garnier and La Monnaie de Paris, the French mint.

Emily in Paris Season 2 Filming Locations

For most of Season 2, Emily spends time away from the City of Light. Emily goes on a weekend trip to Saint-Tropez with Mathieu Cadault (Charles Martins)—though he ditches her on the train after overhearing her phone call with Gabriel.

While enjoying her time on the French Riviera, Emily stays at the Grand Hotel du Cap-Ferrat, a Four Seasons hotel. The hotel is based between Monaco and Nice, and is actually in the Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat region, rather than Saint Tropez.

During her time here, Emily partied somewhere called Ragazzi House. In real life, this is a palace named the Château Diter.

That's not to say Season 2 completely ignored Paris, as it saw Emily visit some less-touristy locations. She visited the Père Lachaise Cemetery, which is the largest in the French capital and is where several famous people are buried, including Édith Piaf, Oscar Wilde and Jim Morrison.

Emily visited Le Champo cinema, which is an art house cinema based in the Latin Quarter of Paris, as well as Galeries Lafayette, the biggest department store chain in Europe. She and Julien (Samuel Arnold) also went to a gay bar named Le Raidd. A real bar, Le Raidd is based near the Centre Pompidou gallery and was once voted one of Time Out's top 100 best bars in Paris.

Season 2 also sees Mindy start her singing career. She busked outside the Fontaine Saint Michel and Eglise Saint Eustache, visited Montmartre's Nouvelle Eve Cabaret and performed at Huatian Chinagora, a restaurant in Alfortville.

The season finale sees a fashion show take place in the Palace of Versailles, the former royal residence just outside Paris.

Emily in Paris Season 3 Filming Locations

While the Eiffel Tower has been featured before, this time, they filmed in the iconic landmark for a dream that Emily has where Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) and Madeline (Kate Walsh) confront her at the top of the Eiffel Tower because she's been secretly working for both women.

Gabriel and Camille (Camille Razat) share an unexpected romantic exchange at the museum Musée D'Orsay and scenes were filmed at the museum Musée des Arts Décoratifs and Quai des Célestins, a quay that runs along the Seine in the 4th arrondissement.

Landmarks such as the Tuileries Gardens, Place de la Concorde and Place Juliette Gréco also all make an appearance and Emily was spotted sipping drinks with her friend Mindy by the pool at the hotel and spa Piscine Molitor.

La Nouvelle Eve, one of the oldest revue theaters in Paris, is also the setting for a scene starring Emily and Alfie (Lucien Laviscount). It is located in the 9th arrondissement of the city, in Montmartre.

Like in Season 2, Emily leaves the French capital for a trip away, heading to the lavender fields and vineyards of Provence. Scenes were filmed in the town of Gordes and the Château de Montpoupon, a castle in central France's Loire Valley.

The season ends with a party at Camille's family château in Château de Sonnay.

Emily in Paris Season 4 is due to hit Netflix on August 15.
