Princess Charlotte has been praised by fans after footage showing the young royal at a high-profile event went viral on TikTok.

Charlotte, the only daughter of Prince William and Princess Kate, is third in line to inherit the British throne and celebrated her ninth birthday on May 2. The princess has won a growing fan base, with videos of her public appearances being widely shared on social media.

Over the past two years, since the death of her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, Charlotte has been seen at a number of high-profile events, including the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla in 2023.

In June, Charlotte and her siblings, Prince George and Prince Louis, made their 2024 public debut at the Trooping the Colour celebrations in London. These mark the official birthday of the sovereign and are attended by the extended royal family.

On August 11, TikTok user @princesscharlottedits uploaded footage of the moment the princess took her seat for the carriage procession through London during the occasion, and it has since been viewed more than 120,000 times.

So far this year, Charlotte has made fewer public appearances as the Wales family has been privately supporting Kate while she receives treatment following a cancer diagnosis.

In the video, Charlotte can be seen wearing a navy and white piped naval-inspired dress with her hair tied with a white ribbon. The look complimented Kate's white dress and hat with black and white ribbon embellishments.

During the carriage entrance with her mother and brothers, Charlotte was spotted by cameras quietly composing herself for the journey to Buckingham Palace. Along the route, she offered the large crowds polite waves.

On the balcony of the palace—alongside the king, queen and working members of the royal family—Charlotte again waved at the crowds while watching a flypast of military aircraft.

The TikTok post, captioned "Princess Charlotte of Wales," has received more than 15,000 likes, with many comments praising the princess and her regal bearing.

"She's so regal," one user wrote. "I'm glad will and Kate are letting their children grow up in private while still letting them attend only a few official events."

"Oh to be a princess I know there are bad things but I would love to be one," another added, while another commenter said: "So iconic! Strong girl."
