Nikki Glaser has walked back on her previous comments about Tom Brady.

During an appearance on the SmartLess podcast with hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett, the comedian opened up about Netflix's The Roast of Tom Brady, which was released in May.

"I went to some places on the Tom Brady roast that I thought other people would go to, and they didn't," Glaser said. "I was the only one that kind of said those names or brought up those subjects that were kind of sore for him."

When asked if Brady was "upset" by the roast remarks, the 40-year-old said: "Yeah I think he said that he in hindsight kind of regrets it. He's glad he did it, but he didn't know that we would go to some places."

She continued, "I don't really know how he feels about it, but I totally see what he means. Because I think you go into these things thinking that they're—you just don't know what people will dig up about you and see in you when they study you and look at your face."

Glaser appeared to change her tune on Brady following comments she made in an interview on the Today show in May. At the time, a Los Angeles Times article was published titled, "Nikki Glaser, 'winner' of Tom Brady's Netflix roast, fires back at NFL star's regrets."

The Nikki Glaser: Someday You'll Die star told Today co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager that Brady "maybe didn't consider the backlash from his family and how would affect them."

She also found it hard to believe that the former New England Patriots quarterback, 47, didn't know what he was getting himself into.

"I think it's kind of a thing you say after the fact," she said. "It's impossible to me that he didn't consider what could've happened."

Brady was the subject of the nearly 3-hour-long roast, which featured celebrities including Will Ferrell, Kim Kardashian, Peyton Manning, Bill Belichick, Rob Gronkowski and more. It was hosted by comedian Kevin Hart.

During an appearance on The Pivot Podcast, Brady—who shares son John "Jack" Edward Thomas ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan and son Benjamin Rein and daughter Vivian Lake with former wife Gisele Bündchen—said the roast affected his children.

"I liked when the jokes were about me. I thought they were so fun," the dad of three said. "I didn't like the way they affected my kids."

"It's the hardest part about...like the bittersweet aspect of when you do something that you think is one way and then all of a sudden you realize I wouldn't do that again because of the way that it affected actually the people that I care about the most in the world."

Glaser took several digs at Brady's personal life in the roast, including his marriage to Bündchen. The couple announced their divorce in 2022.

"Tom Brady, five-time Super Bowl MVP, most career wins, most career touchdowns, you have seven rings—well, eight now that Gisele gave hers back," she said.

The actress also took aim at the NFL star's career, as well as his relationship with Moynahan. The pair were first linked in 2004 and split in December 2006. Two months later, Moynahan announced she was pregnant with Brady's son, while Brady was in a relationship with Bündchen.

"You [Brady] really are... I mean, you're the best to ever play for too long," Glaser joked. "I mean, you retired, then you came back, and then you retired again. I get it. It's hard to walk away from something that's not your pregnant girlfriend."

"Do you guys know about his diet program? It is so strict," she added. "But if you follow it exactly as he does, you too can lose your family."

Glaser made headlines recently for her remix of Taylor Swift's "Cruel Summer," which went viral on social media.
