Taylor Swift's Eras Tour has picked back up following thwarted terrorist plots ahead of her Vienna shows. And her most recent era accompanying her album The Tortured Poets Department continues. As is par for the course with Swift's various eras, the "I Can Do It With A Broken Heart" hitmaker has dropped some new Easter eggs.

Swift, 34, revealed new iterations of The Tortured Poets Department on Thursday, August 15, one of which features a live performance of "Thank You Aimee" from London. Upon the announcement, Swifties were quick to notice some potential shade within the song title's stylization.

On the original pressing of The Tortured Poets Department, "Thank You Aimee" is stylized as "thanK you aIMee." As the capital letters spelled out "KIM," this led fans to think the song is about Kim Kardashian — with whom, Swift was in a public feud after Kardashian, 43, leaked a video of a phone call that took place between Swift and Kardashian's then-husband, Kanye West.

But the live version of the track title is written as "thank You aimEe," with the letters "Y" and "E" capitalized. Fans immediately notice that this spells out "YE," a nickname West has gone by throughout most of his career. In 2021, West legally changed his name to Ye.

Of course, this has prompted much discourse among the Swifties and West fans, the latter of whom say she "needs to get over it." But Swifties were quick to call out the supposed hypocrisy, given that West has named dropped Swift multiple times in songs.

"Kanye name dropped Taylor in both of his most recent albums and no one but swifties said a word but for some reason when Taylor makes a slight nod to Kanye she's 'bitter' and 'needs to get over it," said one fan on X (formerly Twitter).

Many Swifties supported the artistic choice, with one saying "i will always support taylor when it comes to f**king over [Kanye West] and she shall do it again!!!!"

One fan suggested that the subtle shade may be indicative that the next re-recording in Swift's "Taylor's Version" series might be on the way, and that it might be a re-recording of her 2017 album Reputation, which was largely inspired by her feud with West and Kardashian.

"taylor changing the letters in thank you aimee from 'Kim' to 'Ye' is a VERY rep coded thing for her to do," said one fan.

Now, Swift and West have had a tumultuous relationship since 2009, when he infamously snatched the mic from her as she was accepting her award for Best Female Video for her Fearless single "You Belong With Me."

The two briefly made up in 2015, but this reconciliation was short-lived, after West alluded to her on his 2016 song "Famous," claiming "I made that b***h famous."

The new version of "Thank You Aimee" comes just a week after Swift blocked West and Ty Dolla $ign from topping the Billboard 200 chart with their collaborative album, Vultures 2.

The Tortured Poets Department has spent 14 non-consecutive weeks at the top of the Billboard 200.
