NFL superstar Travis Kelce is gearing up for another busy fall, and not just in terms of football. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is starring in one of FX's newest shows, Grotesquerie.

FX dropped the nearly two-minute teaser trailer on Thursday, August 15. The drama, which was created by Glee and American Horror Story icon Ryan Murphy, centers around Niecy Nash-Betts' character, Detective Lois Tryon, who is initially heard in the trailer narrating a series of terrifying images, including crime scenes, haunts, nuns, evil entities and more.

Her character reveals, "I don't know how it started. It's like a hole opened up in the world – to the center of nothingness."

In a snap during the middle of the teaser, Kelce's character appears, crossing his hands in front of his face, appearing to perform magic.

To add to the mystery of this anticipated drama, FX took to Instagram on August 13 to share a promo of the show, along with the caption, "No one can help you if he wants you dead. FX's GROTESQUERIE. Starring Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance, Lesley Manville, and Travis Kelce. Coming 9.25 to FX. Stream on Hulu."

Grotesquerie comes as a welcomed addition to the three-time Superbowl champions ventures into entertainment outside of the NFL and their affiliates.

According to Deadline, earlier this year Prime Video confirmed that Kelce had been slated to host its upcoming game show Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, a spin-off of Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? premiering on the platform on October 16.

Grotesquerie hits FX and Hulu starting on September 25.
