Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been plagued by rumors all summer surrounding the status of their marriage. While neither party has directly commented on the rumors, it appears the two are on good terms.
According to photos obtained by Page Six, Lopez, 55, paid Affleck, 52, a visit to his Brentwood, California, rental home to celebrate his birthday on Thursday, August 15. Lopez — who wed the Oscar winner in 2021 — was seen wearing a tan jacket and wide-legged denim jeans with large hoop earrings and her hair in a ponytail.
The news arrives weeks after Lopez's birthday, which she celebrated with a Bridgerton-themed party, at which, Affleck was not present.
Days after Lopez's party, Affleck was reported to have closed escrow on a Brentwood mansion, while Lopez finalized the sale of her New York City penthouse. The two also listed their Beverly Hills estate for $68 million. He had reportedly removed his belongings from their Beverly Hills home while Lopez was on vacation in Europe back in June.
Affleck's party is the most recent instance in which the two were reported to be in each other's presence. Though he and Lopez have reportedly been separated since May, according to TMZ, they've been spotted together on numerous occasions throughout the summer as split rumors rage on. Lopez was reportedly seen with Ben at the high school graduation ceremony for his daughter, Violet, 18 — whom he shares with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner — back in May. She also joined Affleck for his son, Samuel's, 12, baseball game in June.
Prior to news of their alleged breakup, Lopez and Affleck had not been photographed together in months.
After leaving Affleck's home, the hitmaker, who appeared to be in good spirits at the time — attended a Bruno Mars concert in Los Angeles.
In a clip shared to social media, Lopez danced to Mars' fan-favorite cut, "Marry You" from his 2010 debut album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans. She is seen swinging and throwing her arms in the air, as Mars sang, "It's a beautiful night, we're looking for something dumb to do / Hey baby, I think I wanna marry you."
As Lopez says on her 2012 hit single "Dance Again," sometimes the best medicine is to "dance, and love, and dance again."
