Connor Cruise does not often post on social media, but he took to his Instagram Stories on Saturday, August 17 to celebrate his friend's birthday.
Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's 29-year-old son wore a short-sleeved, black collared shirt, khaki shorts, and a coordinating black baseball cap as he could be seen flashing a thumbs up sign alongside his friend.
His pal Jack Vasilaros dressed similarly, while also holding a French Bulldog in the image, which read, "Happy Birthday, @hookedforlife."
Connor also shared a picture of his friends on a fishing boat, posing alongside an enormous catch. This one was captioned, "Happy Birthday buddy!! @fountainofyouthfishing."
Connor has shared pictures of his fishing buddies to Instagram before, like in August 2022, when he and his friends donated over 300 pounds of Warsaw Grouper for the Sarasota Slam Tournament to help feed the hungry.
Prior to his August upload, the most recent post on his feed was from an April 2023 golf day at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida.
While Connor and his sister Isabella, 31, mostly tend to keep out of the spotlight, Connor did step out in London with his famous dad in June 2024, where he was seen boarding a helicopter, according to photos obtained by People.
Tom and then-wife Kidman adopted Connor in 1995, three years after the pair adopted their first child together, daughter Bella. The A-list actors met while filming Days of Thunder in 1990, and married not long after.
They were together until their divorce in 2001, after which the Mission: Impossible star went on to marry his now-ex Katie Holmes in 2006, with whom he shares daughter Suri, 18. Kidman went on to marry country singer Keith Urban in 2006, with whom she shares daughters Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 13.
Kidman recently spoke with the Los Angeles Times about how her marriage inspired director Stanley Kubrick while working on their film, Eyes Wide Shut. She also talked about how the couple and their two children lived in their movie trailer for the duration of the film, despite owning a home about 10 minutes away.
"We had two kids and were living in a trailer on the lot primarily, making spaghetti because Stanley [Kubrick] liked to eat with us sometimes," she said. "We were working with the greatest filmmaker and learning about our lives and enjoying our lives on set."
