Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld have their home to themselves again, as they've officially sent their youngest son, Shepherd, off to college at Duke University.
On Monday, August 19, Jessica, 52, shared a recap of their eventful weekend on Instagram, posting photos of her, Jerry, 70, and Shepherd, 20, captioned, "Move-in weekend. All 3 baby birds have flown. Hope all of you first timers or last timers are holding up. #classof2028" The Instagram carousel also included photos with the couple's other two children, Sascha and Julian Seinfeld.
Jessica also shared a photo with her youngest son and husband on her Instagram Story, captioned "3rd and final launched." The snap showed the proud parents smiling, standing on either side of their son in what looks to be his new dorm room.
The family appeared to make the most of their time together before the big move-in, with Jessica showing brief glimpses of their "brunch before move-in" and photos of smoked brisket and hot wings on campus. Sascha, 23 and Julian, 21, also attend the university and will join their little brother living on campus.
Fans loved the look inside the Seinfeld's family life, leaving their well wishes for the young adult. "Shep you were just born my sweet boy! Can't wait to see all that you do! 💙💙💙" said one fan.
Other's resonated with Jessica, admitting they are also struggling with an empty nest. "First timer. I am not ok. But my son sure is 😂❤️," hilariously noted one fan. Another agreed, saying, "One of the hardest things I ever went thru 😢but I did it 3X 🥇🥇🥇."
Jessica previously shared photos of her family back in June when Shepherd hit another milestone and graduated high school. "Our youngest son Shepherd graduated from high school yesterday," she revealed in the caption. "As I posted earlier in my stories, we gave him a flip phone for graduation in hopes he will turn in his smartphone. Many of you have asked if this is his first phone - I wish! If I knew then what I know now, I would've waited until age 14 to give him a smartphone," she joked.
Jessica and Jerry have been married since December 1999, welcoming their daughter just a year later in 2000.
