The daughter of former Donald Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway has shown her support for Vice President Kamala Harris ahead of the November election.

Even though Kellyanne Conway was Senior Counselor to the President in the administration of Donald Trump from 2017 to 2020, Claudia Conway and her father, George Conway, the co-founder of Lincoln Project, emerged in 2020 as vocal critics of the Republican leader.

Over the years, Claudia Conway has consistently voiced her opposition to Trump and several conservative political pursuits, even during a tumultuous period in her relationship with her mother.

Now she has shared a photo of herself and her father in the crowd at the Democratic National Convention on Monday, which has since gone viral.

Newsweek emailed Claudia Conway for comment on Tuesday.

"MAGA's most-hated," she wrote in a post on the platform alongside a photo of herself and her father. In it, they are showing off badges that read "Kamala" with the DNC stage behind them. At the time of writing, the post had been viewed 1.1 million times.

Harris surprised everyone on Monday by showing up on stage to give brief remarks to attendees. She is expected to formally accept the Democratic nomination in a speech on Thursday, after winning enough delegates to become the nominee.

The comments on Claudia Conway's post are overwhelmingly positive, with one person writing: "Well, MAGAs can hate, but we love you two. Claudia is gorgeous. Enjoy your time at the DNC."

"MAGA's most-hated means you're terrific in my book!!" said another.

A third person added: "Thank you both for your bravery and integrity to stand up for what's right!"

However, not everyone was impressed with the post, as one person wrote: "I am sorry for you. You should listen to your mom."

"We don't hate you. We want to get your father the mental health treatment he so clearly needs," said another.

Claudia Conway is often vocal about her political opinions online and in July she lashed out at Trump, calling him a "fake Republican."

"Trump is a fake Republican. Actually, to put it best, he has completely destroyed and reframed the ideals of the Republican party. That's why we are seeing Republican after Republican endorsing our soon-to-be first woman President," she wrote on X.

Continuing her criticism of Trump, as well as his vice presidential running mate JD Vance, Claudia Conway compared the politicians' ideals to those she grew up with.

"When I think about the Republican and conservative ideals I was raised on and taught from a young age by both of my parents, I don't see any parallels with Trump or Vance's agenda. Truly," she said. "They have created a party of their own."

Also in July, Claudia Conway called out her mom for supporting Vance.

"Senator @JDVance1 represents a new generation of America First warriors. His life experiences and vision equip him to fight for the forgotten men, women and children alongside President Trump. Let's win in 2024!" Kellyanne Conway wrote on X.

As previously reported by Newsweek, Claudia Conway responded: "Thought he called Trump 'Hitler'? He did. Thought he said he opposes marriage equality and abortions for r*pe and incest? ..Oh right he did."

At the time of writing, her comment could no longer be seen on the platform.

In another post, Claudia Conway responded to a clip of Vance discussing women leaving "violent" or "unhappy" marriages, writing "Major yikes."
