Ryan Seacrest is spinning into a new role with the flair and excitement only he can bring. The 49-year-old TV veteran has officially taken his place beside Vanna White, the legendary letter-turner, as they usher in a fresh era for the iconic Wheel of Fortune.

On Saturday, August 17, Seacrest and White, 67, took to Instagram to share behind-the-scenes snapshots from the set. In the first picture, the duo introduced fans to a black box inscribed with the letters "RSTLNE," which are given to contestants in the bonus round on the show. The next frame captured Seacrest opening the box to reveal a whimsical mini version of the game, with the lid declaring "Ryan Seacrest to Launch New Era."

Captioning the post, "We're so excited for this New Era of Wheel! #RSTLNE," it didn't take long for fans to hit the comment section to show their excitement, too.

"Very exciting!!! sings in soprano," one person exclaimed.

"Going to miss Pat but excited for Ryan he's really good at hosting," commented another.

"đŸ”„đŸ”„đŸ”„ This is going to be epic!" a fan proclaimed.

"❀ Finally Ryan Seacrest Is Officially the New Host on Wheel Of Fortune! Now this makes me Happy! The man the myth the Legend!" another added.

Dressed impeccably in a gray suit and a sparkling teal dress respectively, Seacrest and White looked every bit the part of game show royalty. The famous American Idol host steps into these shiny shoes following the retirement of Pat Sajak, who, after four decades of charming America, handed over the reins.

Announcing his retirement via X (formerly Twitter) in June last year, Sajak, 77, wrote, "Well, the time has come. I've decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last. It's been a wonderful ride, and I'll have more to say in the coming months. Many thanks to you all."

Tune in when Seacrest joins the letter-flipping queen to bring in a 'new era' on the season premiere of Wheel of Fortune on Monday, September 9th.
