Travis Kelce has his eyes on the big screen with a role in Adam Sandler's upcoming Happy Gilmore 2 — and the Swifties are thrilled.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end had already secured a TV role, a hosting gig, and even appeared on the Eras Tour stage when Sandler, 57, opened up about the casting while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, August 20.

"Travis has... he mentioned it, so we have a nice something for Travis," Sandler told Fallon of the athlete's role in Happy Gilmore 2. "He's gonna come by. He's a very nice guy. You guys would love him in real life. What a big, handsome guy. Funny and cool as hell. He's a stud and he's so funny."

"Travis Kelce is a master at manifesting," one fan posted on X (formerly known as Twitter). "Dude said he wanted to date Taylor Swift. He got her, and she makes him fresh pop tarts. He said he wanted a back to back Super Bowl, he got it. He wants to be in Happy Gilmore 2, he's in it. Damn to be the universe's favorite child."

"Please Travis teach us your manifesting skills," another fan wrote, alongside a photo of Kelce and Taylor hugging, in which the athlete wears a Happy Gilmore hat and Swift sports a New Heights baseball cap. Other fans made guesses as to how Kelce will appear in the film, with one suggesting he play a caddie.

Other fans simply celebrated another one of Kelce's dreams coming true. "so happy for this #1 Happy Gilmore fan," one person posted, alongside an array of photos of the Chiefs player wearing his Happy Gilmore hat.

The sequel to Sandler's beloved 1996 golf comedy is highly anticipated, and Kelce previously shared his excitement about it on his podcast with brother Jason, New Heights. He said he was a "huge fan of the Sandman," and admitted he would do "anything" to get a role in the film.

Fans have long praised Travis's manifesting skills, seeing as he is currently dating superstar Taylor Swift after sharing his desire to ask her out on a previous episode of New Heights. It seems he has done it again with Happy Gilmore 2, though Sandler did not share any specific details about the Super Bowl champion's role in the movie.

The news comes less than a week after FX released the first teaser trailer for Grotesquerie, the Ryan Murphy series that will feature Travis in an undisclosed role. He can be seen in a brief glimpse in the video, crossing his hands in front of his face, looking like he might be about to perform magic.

Grotesquerie is set to debut on FX on September 25, and his Prime Video gameshow Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? — an Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? spinoff — premieres with its first three episodes on October 16.
