Ella Emhoff, the daughter of Vice President Kamala Harris' husband Doug Emhoff, has reassured fans on social media after numerous posts about the Democratic National Convention.

The second gentleman's youngest child has been in attendance at the DNC, where her outfits have caused a stir.

On Sunday, the 25-year-old shared a collage of her looks with her 418,000 Instagram followers, light-heartedly telling them "don't worry" when it comes to her usual content returning.

Holding up her dog-shaped handbag, Emhoff teamed a navy, pinstriped trouser suit with a blue jumper emblazoned with the American flag.

She captioned it: "The rumors are true... I ate a hotdog in all these outfits. I'll be back to annoying you with knitting soon don't worry."

Emhoff had seemingly turned comments off on the post, however there has been no shortage of reaction to her ensembles throughout the week-long event.

Her last grid post related to knitting was back on August 1, when she shared a video of her latest piece of art, writing: "Certified member of the tiny teeth club."

It received a long list of comments, with user @alireadsandwrites telling her: "So talented!" while @rovalann agreed: "You are amazing."

Emhoff is a model, fashion designer and artist, who graduated from New York's Parsons School of Design in 2021.

She specializes in knitwear and founded Soft Hands Knit Club, a knitting group open to the public.

Emhoff told Cultured magazine in October: "Knitting and textile art in general has and always will be a therapeutic practice for me. I treat it as something to calm my anxiety."

Meanwhile, the star had continued on her Stories on Sunday: "Here's the final outfit gallery. Thank you for all the love on the looks and no thank you to everyone who is being weird."

On Thursday, Emhoff, who has modeled for the likes of Proenza Schouler and Maisie Wilen, chose a dress designed by a TikTok star to take to the stage in to speak about her "Momala."

The baby blue, asymmetric number by Joe Ando took three days to make and the strap was crocheted by Emhoff herself.

The designer later told DailyMail.com: "Ella was so happily involved and really felt the passion for the start to finish design experience.

"Watching her take the stage, was amazing, she looked perfect! The dress really reflected her range of style and she really popped out in such a classy way."

Among Emhoff's other updates on the picture-sharing app was one addressing her emotional public reaction four days ago.

She wrote: "If you saw me cry on TV NO YOU DIDNT. Just kidding, I was crying like a little baby. Very emotional sister and daughter over here. Proud doesn't even begin to describe how I'm feeling after last night."
