The divorce between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez is one of the hot topics of the summer, but while Lopez, 55, has been seen spending quality time with her soon-to-be ex-husband's children, he does not appear to have such a strong relationship with her kids.

After the early 2000s power couple reignited their romance and tied the knot in 2021, they created a blended family which included the three children that Affleck, 52, shares with Jennifer Garner and the twins that Lopez shares with Marc Anthony.

According to Page Six, Lopez had been spotted on outings with Affleck's kids Violet, 18, Fin (born Seraphina), 15, and Samuel, 12. She shared an especially affectionate ice cream date with Violet in the Hamptons, where the duo walked with their arms around each other. The outlet also reported that the Selena star took Samuel on a shopping trip to Neiman Marcus and attended his middle school graduation in June. Lopez and Affleck reportedly put aside their differences to attend Fin's school play. Violet is starting her first semester at Yale University in New Haven, CT, where Affleck and Garner took her and Fin out to dinner during move-in weekend.

In contrast, there have been no documented sightings of Affleck spending time with Lopez's 16-year-old twins Max and Emme. An inside source allegedly told People that Affleck is "not in touch" with them, despite Lopez's previous comments about what a good dad the Good Will Hunting actor is. Despite the difficulties that always come with ending a marriage, Page Six reported that "Everybody is ready to move on" from this relationship now that it's been explored fully.

Lopez officially filed for divorce on Tuesday, August 20, according to court documents obtained by Newsweek on the second anniversary of their Georgia wedding ceremony.
