Liam Gallagher has criticized those who have questioned the reason behind Oasis reuniting, telling them their "attitude stinks."

Liam and Noel Gallagher—who have been estranged for 15 years—have confirmed the English group will reunite for a series of live shows in London, Manchester, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Dublin in 2025. The shows will mark Oasis' first live dates in 16 years, with tickets going on sale on Saturday, August 31.

"The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised," Oasis said in a statement.

The tour is expected to generate over $529 million (£400 million) for the two brothers, according to the Daily Mail. Many have theorized that this is the reason the two men will reunite, a claim Liam Gallagher has refuted.

Newsweek contacted Liam Gallagher's talent agent via their website for comment on Tuesday.

After The Sun shared the news of the band's historic comeback to X, formerly Twitter, people commented on the post to share their thoughts.

"It's better off left in the 90's.....they must be skint," one person theorized.

"So they are broke then," a different person wrote, with another adding: "Cash is drying up."

Liam Gallagher responded to each of these posts with the same message: "Your attitude stinks."

When the X account Liam Gallagher Fans Club shared an old quote from him about the band, one X user replied: "Skint? Pension top up?"

The rock star proved he wasn't going to let that fly either, as he wrote: "SHUTUP."

The band confirmed the reunion with a post on official the Oasis website.

"Oasis today end years of feverish speculation with the confirmation of a long awaited run of UK and Ireland shows forming the domestic leg of their OASIS LIVE '25 world tour. Oasis will hit Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin in the summer of 2025," part of the message reads.

"Their only shows in Europe next year, this will be one of the biggest live moments and hottest tickets of the decade," it says. "Plans are underway for OASIS LIVE '25 to go to other continents outside of Europe later next year."

Rumors of a reunion started swirling over the weekend when a teaser appeared on Oasis' social media that read "27.08.24" followed by "8 am."

Then, Liam Gallagher dedicated the song "Half the World Away" to his brother Noel at the Reading and Leeds Festival on Sunday, calling him the "greatest songwriter."

Their 2025 tour announcement came just one day before the anniversary of their split on August 28, 2009. At the time, Noel released a statement, saying: "It's with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer."

Months earlier, he infamously said of Liam: "He's the angriest man you'll ever meet."

The band has sold an estimated 75 million albums worldwide, thanks to hits including "Wonderwall," "Champagne Supernova" and "Don't Look Back in Anger."
