Travis and Jason Kelce's hit podcast is getting a new home under what is being reported as a lucrative nine-figure deal.

The NFL brothers get behind the mics for their weekly podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce. In it, they talk about everything from their beloved sport to what's making headlines and, of course, their private lives, including Travis' romance with singer Taylor Swift.

In a new deal, the show is moving to Wondery, a podcast platform owned by Amazon.

The multiyear deal means Wondery will have global distribution rights to all audio and video episodes of the podcast, its back catalog and the right to create international audio adaptations of the podcast, per The Hollywood Reporter.

"We couldn't be more excited to team up with Wondery for the next phase of New Heights," said the football stars in a statement released by Amazon. "We love this show and the fan base that has grown with us over the last two seasons. Wondery understands the shared vision and will offer a wealth of experience and resources to take us to new heights! We are going to create some groundbreaking moments together through this partnership. We are thrilled to start Season 3—see you soon, 92%ers!"

The "92%ers" is a nickname given to fans of the podcast by the brothers. It originated from Jason speaking about a move in the NFL known as a "quarterback sneak," which he said only works "92 percent of the time." According to the podcast's official merchandise website, this essentially translates into something representing a high chance of success.

"This '92% of the time' thing became a joke among fans, and they started calling themselves the '92%ers.' It's like their secret handshake, but in words," says the website.

While an official figure for Wondery's acquisition of New Heights has not been released, some outlets, including Variety, are reporting that it cost the platform $100 million.

Picking up New Heights should be a boon for the podcast platform. It is a top-rated show on Apple and Spotify podcast charts and was the fourth most listened-to podcast in the U.S. last year. It has also won a bag of awards, including podcast of the year at iHeartMedia's 2024 iHeartPodcast Awards.

"We've been watching the growth of the podcast, really since it was launched, and I have been building a relationship with Travis and Jason and getting to know them for a while now," Wondery CEO Jen Sargent told The Hollywood Reporter. "Sports is a really exciting category for podcast listeners. It's a strategic priority of Wondery's and Amazon's. So there were a lot of reasons to think about joining forces here on the New Heights podcast."

The new deal also indicates that the brothers are making further plans for their lives post-NFL. Jason retired from the Philadelphia Eagles this year and will be joining ESPN as a Monday Night Football analyst next month.

After winning back-to-back Super Bowls earlier this year, Travis signed a two-year, $34 million extension with the Kansas City Chiefs, making him the highest-paid tight end in the league.

But rumors have circulated that he is eyeing a move into show business once he retires. In March 2023, Travis hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live. He recently snagged a role in the FX horror series Grotesquerie and will soon host a spinoff of Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?

It was also revealed earlier this week that one of Travis' lifelong dreams had come true when he got a role in the upcoming movie Happy Gilmore 2.

The original Adam Sandler movie was released in 1996, and the actor opened up on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon about casting the NFL star.

"We have a nice something for Travis," Sandler said on Tuesday's show. "He's a very nice guy. You guys would love him in real life. What a big, handsome guy and, well, funny and cool as hell."

In Happy Gilmore, Sandler played a hockey player turned golfer, hoping to win big money to save his grandmother's house.

Travis is also opening a steakhouse in Kansas City with his Chiefs teammate, quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
