Actress and model Tori Spelling maintains a busy schedule — both on screen and at home. But fortunately, she's come up with some crafty ways to save time.

In an episode of her MisSPELLING podcast shared Tuesday, August 27, Spelling, 51, spoke with singer and actress Debbie Gibson about her daily routines with her children. Spelling is the mother of five children — Liam, 17, Stella, 16, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, 7 — her youngest having recently begun first grade. In the podcast conversation, Spelling explained to Gibson, 53, how she and Beau have crafted their schedule for optimal sleep and dressing time.

"It's so bad," said Spelling. "I've gotten so lazy with my youngest one because there's so many, that at night I put him in his clothes for the next day. And convinced him that it's cool to do that."

Spelling continued, breaking down how their little routine works.

"So, he has dinner, he takes his bath — sometimes— but then I'll be like, 'Hey, dude. It will save an extra five minutes if we get dressed now and then you can sleep later,'" said Spelling. "And I can sleep later wink wink."

Back in June, Spelling shared a picture of Beau, holding up a certificate signifying that he had just finished kindergarten.

"So proud of this kid! My baby," read the post's caption.

While a mother's work is seemingly never done, Spelling and Gibson came up with some silly ways to get more sleep. Spelling joked that she could easily fall asleep "If I had Debbie Gibson in my bed every night, just singing me a lullaby."

Gibson then suggested that her 1987 hit single, "Only In My Dreams" be featured in an Ambien commercial.

"I used to take Ambien," Gibson said, further adding to any future campaign's credibility. "That's truth in advertising."
