Haliey Welch, also known as "Hawk Tuah Girl," has made a big announcement on social media after skyrocketing to viral fame.

The 22-year-old took to X, formerly Twitter, and Instagram on Tuesday to share that her "lifelong dream" had come true.

"I now have my animal foundation up and running! Paws Across America is here!!" Welch said. "Ever since my life changed so publicly, I realized there had to be a reason for it. Growing up, the one constant in my life was my pets and they helped me get through so much.

"By starting Paws Across America, my newfound financial blessings will be shared with the animals that need it most," Welch added. "So the first place I went was my hometown in Tennessee. Now get over there and adopt some doggies!"

In the video, Welch said, "Today I'm happy to announce the launch of my Paws Across America fund. Our mission is to bring awareness, advocacy and financial assistance to animal charities within the United States."

The Tennessee native went to Petco in the clip to pick up supplies including leashes, collars and dog food, and brought them to Lewisburg Animal Shelter.

At the time of publication, Welch's X video racked up more than 260,000 views, and on Instagram, it garnered almost 700,000 views.

In a follow-up message posted to X, Welch wrote, "My life mission."

Leading up to the news, Welch teased "announcement coming soon" with a Joe Rogan meme.

Newsweek reached out to Welch via email for additional comment.

In the replies, people praised the internet personality for her generosity.

"Congratulations Haliey!! It's awesome to see someone using their fame fortune for noble causes. We need more folks like you in this world," @YottaVolt posted, to which Welch responded with prayer and dog emoji.

"I'm so happy for you. We all needed you to receive overnight fame. Thanks and congrats!" @carrie2point0 wrote, which prompted Welch to respond with a heart emoji.

"Hailey, I love that you are doing this. Doggies are little angels. Thank you for doing something that makes a difference," politician Valentina Gomez added.

"She did more in her 15 minutes than I will in my life lol good for you, girl," Instagram user @touchofhoneytanning commented, while @jratunh21 added: "This girl won!!! America gave the right woman fame! I love everything about this. I absolutely love animals."

Welch became a viral sensation following an interview with YouTubers Tim & Dee TV, where she was asked a question about her sex life.

"What's one move in bed that makes a man go crazy every time?" they asked.

"Oh, you gotta give him that hawk tuah and spit on that thang," Welch responded.

Last week, Welch said she wants to move away from her nickname.

"We're trying to step away from it," she told Complex's West Wilson, before discussing where she sees herself in the future. "We're steering towards podcasts and stuff like that, and a reality TV show. We're talking about it."
