The Instagram carousel, which was shared on Saturday, August 31, contained a collection of summer photos with family and friends, with Lopez, 55, sharing quotes that could be a reference to her emotions over the past few months. "Everything is unfolding in divine order," one quote read, while another said "she's in bloom, unbothered, out of reach, and at peace."
Her caption, "oh, it was a summer," seemingly hinted at the singer's turbulent relationship and ultimate decision to file for divorce from Affleck, 52, on their two-year anniversary on August 20, which cited irreconcilable differences. In the filing, which has been obtained by Newsweek, Lopez also requested to revert to her maiden name.
