Travis Kelce has revealed the "hardest part" of his performance during one of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concerts in London.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end surprised the entirety of London's Wembley Stadium and millions of fans all over the world when he stepped right into his girlfriend's onstage skit on June 23.

Dressed in a full tuxedo and bow tie, Kelce performed in the introduction to her song "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart," from April's The Tortured Poets Department album. During the skit, Kelce carried Swift—who was pretending to have fainted—across the stage before gently placing her on the prop couch.

Now, during an appearance on sports podcast The Rich Eisen Show, Kelce discussed the viral moment and what he found the "hardest part" of the performance.

Newsweek emailed spokespeople for Kelce and Swift for comment on Wednesday.

When Eisen asked the three-time Super Bowl champion how much preparation had to go into his performance, Kelce said: "It wasn't a lot."

He continued: "Taylor knew I'm just, I'm, when the lights are on, I'm gonna have some fun and, uh, she, she put me in a position to where I didn't have to do much for it to be a success. She put me in a really comfortable part of the show and, um, I was just there not to screw anything up.

"I mentioned it on New Heights [his podcast with brother Jason Kelce], I just didn't want to drop her when I was carrying her on that stage. That would have been the most embarrassing thing I could have ever done, so just getting her to the couch was the hardest part."

"You can't fumble possession there," Eisen said, before asking Kelce if there was ever a moment where "Taylor looked at you and goes, 'Are you sure you have this?'"

Kelce responded: "Oh, for sure there was definitely that, that extra, like, 'Wait, are you sure you want to do this?' But she was, uh, she was so fun about it and, you know, I'm, uh, I'm always down to have some fun on stage with Tay Tay."

During the July 3 episode of his podcast New Heights, Kelce told his brother that the onstage appearance was his idea—and Swift approved.

"I initially mentioned it to Tay, I was, like, 'How funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the 1989 era?' She started laughing, she was, like, 'Would you seriously be up for doing something like that?'" Kelce said.

"I was just like, 'What? I would love to do that; are you kidding me? I've seen the show enough—might as well put me to work here.' And, sure enough, she found the perfect part of the show for me to come in."

The NFL star has attended Eras Tour shows across Asia, Australia, Europe and the U.S., so it should come as no surprise he knows the show well.

During the podcast episode, Kelce said the moment he had to carry Swift to the couch had him recalling what his old coach used to tell him about not dropping the ball.

"The one thing I told myself is: 'Do not drop the baby. Do not drop Taylor on your way over to this damn couch,'" he added.

"I was gonna do some extra stuff—and who knows, maybe if I ever do it again, I might do it—but the golden rule was to not drop Taylor. [Former Chiefs coordinator] Coach Bieniemy always used to say, 'That ball has our dreams, goals, and aspirations. You do not drop that ball.'"
