Travis Kelce made a wildly unexpected confession when discussing the most "random" purchase he evermade with his NFL paycheck.

On Tuesday, September 3, the Chiefs' official TikTok account posted a video for their 4.8 million followers asking a few players about their "random" purchases since being in the NFL.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, for his part, admitted: "There's a lot of random stuff, a lot," before walking away from the camera. Of course, Travis eventually came back to reveal his wild buy.

"I bought a human-sized hamster ball; I don't know why," the Super Bowl champion later confessed in the 34-second video. Despite the absurdity of the purchase, Travis, 34, assured fans it was money well spent, saying, "It is fun, though."

Some of Travis's other teammates opted for more practical purchases; wide receivers Rashee Rice and Montrell Washington said they bought plants, while Swayze Booman splurged on a juicer.

Followers got a kick out of the Ohio native's choice and wondered what his superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift, thought of the outlandish toy.

"Why am I picturing Taylor sitting on a lawn chair trying to write a song enjoying the sun, and Travis is just in the background running around in his human sized hamster ball😂," one user jokingly commented.

"It's the fact that the human sized hamster ball doesn't even surprise me honestly. And now I'm just picturing Taylor in a human sized hamster ball. 😂😂😂," another individual wrote.

Some fans wanted more details on the hamster ball and asked the University of Cincinnati alum to discuss his purchase on New Heights -- the football and pop culture-centric podcast he does with older brother and former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce, 36.

"@New Heights I think we need information on the hamster ball,"a fan wrote via TikTok.

The Chiefs' official TikTok account must have also thought the nine-time Pro Bowler's response was funny, captioning the video, "A human-sized hamster ball?! 🤣 #chiefs #kansascity#random #nflfootball"

However, this isn't the first time Travis has made a purchase that caught fans' attention. Just last week, in a press release via Blood Horse, it was revealed by Team Valor International CEO and founder Barry Irwin that Travis had "acquired a significant share" in a 3-year-old gelding racehorse named Swift Delivery — quite a fitting name considering who Travis is dating.

Travis and his brother recently signed a three-year $100 million deal with Amazon's Wondery for their New Heights podcast, so it's safe to say the football star can make all the fun purchases he desires.
