Lady Gaga hasexpressed her admiration for some of the biggest names in music today, including international pop star Taylor Swift.
In the latest Vogue cover story released on Thursday, September 5, Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, shared how the success of artists like Swift, Chappell Roan, Billie Eilish, Charli XCX, and Kesha moves her deeply.
"I go on the internet and, like, cry. I love Taylor Swift too. And Kesha. I watch it all, and I'm like: Yup. Go! Just Go. I'm not only cheering them on, I want them to know that my heart is in it with them," the "Edge of Glory" singer revealed to the outlet before noting, "I want them all to feel really happy."
The support follows a moment back in June where Swift, 34, defended Gaga, 38, against invasive rumors about her body on TikTok after the "Just Dance" hitmaker addressed pregnancy speculation. After rumors swirld thatGaga was allegedly expecting a child with fiancé Michael Polansky, she used Swift'slyric from the song "Down Bad" to clarify in the video writing, "Not pregnant – just down bad cryin' at the gym."
In true girl's girl fashion, Swift commented on the situation,denouncing invasive scrutiny of women's bodies. "Can we all agree that it's invasive & irresponsible to comment on a woman's body. Gaga doesn't owe anyone an explanation & neither does any woman 💋," she commented, which has received hundreds of likes from fans.
In related Swift news, the pop star attended her first Kansas City Chiefs game of the season on Thursday Swift arrived at Arrowhead Stadium about an hour before the game was scheduled to begin, waving and talking to fans around the venue. Sporting a coordinated denim outfit with thigh-high dark red boots, she caused quite a buzz as she made her way through the stadium, her presence a definite highlight of the evening. The songstress was seen in the stands conversing to Kelce's father, Ed, and gave Kelce's mother, Donna, a huge hug following a nice reception during the game.
