Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes shut down rift rumors while attending the US Open tennis championships on Sunday.
The pair were photographed hugging at the event at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City alongside their partners—Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce; and Mahomes' husband, Patrick Mahomes. The pals watched the Men's Singles Final between the United States' Taylor Fritz and Italy's Jannik Sinner.
Days earlier, several outlets reported that the pop star and the pregnant Kansas City Current co-owner sat in separate suites during the Kansas City Chiefs' season opener against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday. Previously, Swift and Brittany Mahomes would often cheer on their significant others—who both play for the Chiefs—while watching the games together.
On social media, fans are happy to see the duo back together.
On X, formerly Twitter, @BeckyWTGH38 wrote: "Looks like Taylor and Brittany are just fine. Can we just stop putting these women against each other."

In August, Brittany Mahomes allegedly liked a post shared by former President Donald Trump on Instagram. Earlier this month, the Republican presidential candidate praised the former professional soccer player.

Swift has not endorsed a president in the 2024 election. In 2020, however, she endorsed Joe Biden over Donald Trump—so there is speculation she will endorse Vice President Harris—who is the Democratic presidential candidate—before the November election.
Real Time host Bill Maher recently questioned whether Swift and Brittany Mahomes' Chiefs' game separation was due to politics.
"Don't you think partisanship has gone too far?" he asked.
In August, the Grammy Award winner hosted friend Blake Lively's birthday at her home in Rhode Island—and Patrick and Brittany Mahomes were photographed at the event. In July, the couple attended Swift's Amsterdam show on her wildly successful Eras Tour.
Swift and Brittany Mahomes became close during last year's NFL season, and they even had their own "BFF handshake."
