Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are making the most of their time in the city that never sleeps!
On Sunday, September 8, Swift, 34, and Kelce, 34, were joined by friends Patrick Mahomes, 28, and Brittany Mahomes, 29, for a double date night in New York City, once again shutting down rumors of a rift between the pop star and Brittany.
The 14-time Grammy winner was photographed hand in hand with her Kansas City Chiefs tight end boyfriend as they headed into Meduza Mediterrania for dinner. The couples had quite an eventful day together, as the dinner date came only a few hours after they all attended the US Open at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens. The two famous couples shared a box at the stadium. Much to many fans' surprise, Swift and Brittany were spotted smiling, laughing, and hugging at the match.
Swift went into total fall mode with her outfit and dressed in head-to-toe Gucci. She wore a brown mini-shift dress with the classic Gucci logo. The singer-songwriter decided to pull some pieces for the Gucci Horsebit collection as she matched her black heels with her shoulder bag. Later in the evening, the "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart" singer threw a brown wool trench coat over her dress as the temperature dropped. Kelce kept it classic with an all-black and white ensemble. The New Heights podcaster paired black trousers with a black and white short-sleeved knit polo top. The University of Cincinnati alum kept it sleek with accessories, wearing a black baseball cap and sneakers.
Fans have speculated Swift and Brittany were at odds due to political beliefs. While the superstar has not yet endorsed a presidential candidate for the upcoming election, she has previously supported Democratic candidates. While Brittany has also not made any public statements regarding who she is voting for, she has allegedly "liked" multiple posts supporting the Republican nominee, Donald Trump, as well as his vice presidential candidate, J.D. Vance. (Trump himself praised her for supporting his presidential campaign this month.) Then, after the Thursday, September 5, Kansas City Chiefs' season opener against the Baltimore Ravens, more speculation occurred as Swift and the mom of two did not sit in the same suite during the game like they typically did last season.
However, with this recent day out, it's safe to say Swift and Brittany's friendship is still going strong.
