A TikToker who died just moments after competing in Disneyland's Halloween Half Marathon on Sunday had posted a haunting video the day before he entered the race.

Bobby Graves—who went by his middle name Caleb on social media—was a travel blogger and Disney fan who primarily shared running tips and insight into his regular trips to the theme park on TikTok.

This past weekend, triple-digit temperatures swept through Southern California, coinciding with the marathon. AccuWeather reports that on Sunday in Anaheim, where Disneyland is located, the high temperature was 108 degrees Fahrenheit and the low was 72 Fahrenheit.

According to People, Graves was seen clutching his chest as he crossed the finish line. Now a video in which he says he has "no control" over his body and some kind of "susceptibility" to the extreme heat, which he posted the day before he collapsed and died, is gaining traction online.

Newsweek emailed Disneyland and Sergeant Matt Sutter, the Anaheim Police Department's Public Information Officer, for comment on Wednesday outside of normal business hours.

"Disneyland Half Marathon—the Halloween Half Marathon—is tomorrow and I'm marginally worried now," Graves says in the video posted to his @calebgtravels account.

"I don't know if I have—so I went outside today around, like, 2 o'clock—which is, you know, probably the hottest part of the day, it's like 90-something degrees. And you know, there are other parts of the country that are obviously hotter ... but I grew up in Texas, I know what heat is like but the UV exposure with the heat in southern California is its own kind of beast.

"Anyway, I have maybe some susceptibility, I don't know if it's temporary or long-term, to heat. Because I was outside for like 20 minutes, walking my dog, just walking around the block and it was hot, but I felt fine and then I came in and then like 10 minutes after I got back in, I just passed out."

"I just fell asleep—no control over my body. It was heat exhaustion, it's only happened once to me before ... I don't know what's going on, but I really hope I get through the race tomorrow morning. The fact that it's early will help me out because it's not cute to just lose control of your body and just fall asleep like that."

According to an official statement from Anaheim Police Sergeant Matt Sutter, Graves collapsed after crossing the finish line and was immediately assisted by emergency personnel.

"The race started at 5 a.m., I don't know what start wave he was in but he crossed the finish line at approximately 7 a.m.," Sutter told People.

"As soon as he crossed the finish line, he started grabbing his chest. One of the workers noticed and ran up to him and caught him before he collapsed. Fire and rescue personnel were right there on the scene. Emergency services could not have been there any faster."

Sutter added that medics "performed lifesaving measures and transported him right away to the hospital. They worked on him for an hour, but he was pronounced deceased at the hospital."

The police sergeant told the LA Times that Graves had no known medical conditions before his death. The TikToker was no stranger to running marathons, as he had run marathons and half-marathons before, including at Disney World in Orlando in 2023 and early 2024.

The coroner's office is still investigating the cause of his cardiac arrest.

"We are deeply saddened by this tragic loss, and our hearts are with Caleb's family and loved ones during this difficult time," Disneyland Resort spokesperson Jessica Good said in a statement, per Dailymail.com.
