Jason Kelce's Monday Night Football debut was one for the books — that neither his brother Travis nor the latter's girlfriend, Taylor Swift, will soon forget.

During Jason's first broadcast, which aired Monday, September 9, the retired Philadelphia Eagles center wore a shirt that he had purchased at the mall shortly before show time. The shirt, however, didn't fit him entirely, as his cohosts noted that the chest buttons didn't button all the way.

Jason had a hilarious reaction to the fit of the shirt, saying, "It fits my belly now. I've lost a little bit of weight, but my t**s are still struggling."

In a new episode of Jason and Travis' New Heights podcast, which dropped Wednesday, September 11, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end recalled watching this in real-time alongside Swift.

"And, me and Taylor were watching that absolutely dying laughing at it," Kelce said. "It was the perfect thing to open everybody up to what they were gonna experience for the next 18 weeks."

Making a big television debut following his retirement from the Eagles was a daunting task for Jason, but he thanked the team at ESPN for making his new role a smooth transition.

"It's like anything you do your first time. I did not feel prepared," Jason said. "I felt very nervous. I didn't know what to expect. And then you realize that you were prepared, that ESPN did a great job of setting everything up, and that you're on set, thankfully for me, with three other guys that have done it a bunch."

Fans can catch Jason on Monday Night Football weekly on ESPN and ABC. Travis will also make his big television debut soon on FX's Grotesquerie, which premieres September 25.
